Brake Abs Warning Light Problems of Ford Focus

My car was part of a recall I took it to Ford and supposedly it was a quick fix til they could investigate and find an actual fix for it. Immediately after I got it back from Ford I started calling the dealer as well as Ford themselves to inform them that my car was not driving right and that something needed to b done due to it being a safety concern. On Nov 28 2019 I was approaching a stop sign and went to apply my brakes and at the moment I did that the cars dash lights completely lit up including traction light, check engine light had been illuminated since I got it back from Ford, the abs light and the up hill parking light. The brakes would not work or stop my car it seemed as though my car either shut off or just stopped responding to any thing I tried to do to get it under control and avoid a crash, nothing worked. As I got closer to the intersection I had no other choice but to turn the wheel and continue through the intersection and tried applying my brakes, all this resulted in an accident with me going over a curb down a ditch into a reservoir and then I got bounced back up the ditch and hit a tree which finally stopped my car. My car is now totaled I've only had ot for 17 months and because of the fact that I complained several times to Ford and the dealer and was told there wasnt a fix available, now I'm out of my only car I still owe money on it due to it being financed, and still Ford does not have a fix. I'm lucky to have only walked away with minor yet painful injuries but what happens to the next person? Ford needs to step it up. Im. Enclosing several pictures of the car accident as well as the check engine light illuminated when I got my car back from the dealer after it was supposed to b temporarily fixed. The police report is unavailable at this time due to the accident just happened a few days ago but once I receive it I can forward it.

Abs pump is malfunctioning. Car has "soft pedal" that is not resolved by replacement of master cylinder, brake booster or thorough bleeding of the brakes (including electronic bleeding of the abs). In addition, after about 5-10 minutes of driving, the brakes start to clamp down on the rotors without driver input. The friction is especially bad when driving at high speeds (e. G. , on a highway), to the point where the car begins to vibrate from the friction. But it will also shows signs of brake drag even at lower speeds (e. G. , 30-50 mph). No abs lights/warnings/codes came on, but mechanic (christian brothers automotive, located in houston TX area) confirmed through manual testing that abs pump was malfunctioning. As it turns out, I am told the abs pump for the 2008 model was a one-year design and was discontinued and cannot be purchased anywhere now. The problems all started about one year ago.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while sitting at a red light, she attempted to accelerate but the parking aid malfunction, check engine and abs warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection but they could not determine the cause of failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 33,300.

I was driving NY car about 25-30 mph when I heard a noise. Low and behold my right wheel was wobbling back and forth. Then it stopped for a moment so I decided to take car to shop. On my way to the shop my barring went completely out. My abs light came on the everything locked up,got to shop right rear wheel was smoking bad. Shop told me everything burned up coast me 1,200. 00 to get back on road. Just one of the many things fixed.

Abs braking light appeared on the dashboard and remained. Driver noticed that while applying the brakes the pedal went to the floor, and vehicle skidded off the road. Driver was able to maintain control of the vehicle. Took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, but mechanic could not duplicate the problem .

Was traveling 50mph heard a loud noise in trunk of vehicle. Sounded like grinding noises. Stopped vehicle and smelled smoke. Engine check and abs lights came on . Parked vehicle , then, had vehicle towed to dealership. Was informed wheel bearings had blown out. This caused wheels to go bad.
