The contact owns a 2006 Ford Freestyle. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the vehicle exhibited an abnormal rattling. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic who inspected the failure and advised that the cvt transmission was defective and would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. As the contact left the dealer, the shifter became stuck in drive and could not be shifted into any other gear.
