Air Bag Light On problems of the 2008 Ford Fusion

Ford motor company sent me several recall notices. When I responded to have the recall done by their mobile unit, they complied . I had no issues with my airbag light in the dash prior to the recall being performed. After the air bag recall was performed, the airbag light came on and stated on. I called Ford motor company and notified them of the issue. I was told I had to bring vehicle in to be diagnosed for a fee of 129. 00 dollars. Again I had no issues with my air bag light prior to the recall being performed.

I took my Fusion in for the airbag recall. The airbag was replaced and now the dash is slightly raised up and looks like the airbag is going to blow out of it anytime. Now the airbag light in the instrument panel is turning on and off randomly. I took my car back to the dealership who replaced the airbag and they say this is a common issue and has nothing to do with what they did. So now I do not know if my car is safe or not to be driving.

After the recall of the air bag. I never had the air bag light on the dash on. After the dealer fix my air bag it wood turn and off most of the time but after taking the car back to get it check the light was not on the dash but after a few month the light is on now and it won't turn off the dealer ship want to charge me to fix the problem now it's on all the time even if I'm stop or moving on the freeway.

The department of motor vehicles has contacted me about my 2008 Ford Fusion it has a recall with the airbags that could kill or seriously injured or me or any of the passengers if it deploys, my airbag light stays on I bought it at ontario sales in lockport new york, when I bought my car the people had already told me that there was a recall on it and I should be getting a letter in the mail that was about a year ago 2017.

Takata recall currently my dash is starting to warp, it looks as if its going to explode on its own. I have had it looked at a few times and was warned not to drive the car both times. I use this car to commute to work and drop my little brother off at school. I do not let people sit in my front seat in fear of harming them. My airbag light has been on causing me to be ineligible for inspections such as emissions, in order to receive actual plates on my car. My registration is currently suspended until I can provide proof that my car is eligible to pass, concluding why I need this airbag now. It's been two years since I was first notified and I've waited far to long thinking that Ford or takata would be doing anything to help me.

Air bag light comes on the dash off and on, starting September, 2017. Sometimes in cold position, sometimes while driving.

I found my wifes Ford Fusion under recall and after many attempts to have the airbags replaced I have been told there are no airbags available for the recall at this time. Her airbag light has stayed on after starting her car at least 4 times this year, I have found no way to safely disconnect or turn off the airbags until new airbags are available, I worry every time she drives her car or has passengers with her, especially her elderly handicapped mother or when we have our 5 month old granddaughter with us, what if the airbags go off for no reason? who pays? what if there are deaths, not just in our car, but what if the bags cause us to hit another car head on, then what? we are terrified of these airbags and need help!.

Takata recall - I received a passenger airbag recall on my call over a year ago (June 1, 2016) and the dealerships still do not have the parts to repair this. I am currently now experiencing issues with my passenger airbag and it is being treated as this is not a serious issue. The issue I am experiencing is when I drive the top cover to the passenger airbag is rattling and now the airbag light has come on.

Dash is bulging around passenger air bag; my car is always parked under our 3 sided enclosed car port year round. This just puffed up one morning when I was getting in car - noticed. No previous indicator. Its big now and I worry air bag will "come loose" my car not on recall list but it should be. . . This is dangerous. Suppose a passenger leans forward and grabs it. . Not good situation. . . And dealer / Ford should stand by a warranty of some sort. This comes up out of the blue. . I've not been in accident. . . Car has extremely low mileage. . .

I noticed the area where the passenger side airbag is is bulging from the dash. When I went to start the car it would turn over and immediately cut out. Airbag icon is lit up on dash as is the engine light. Repeated efforts to start and keep going were unsuccessful. Since I was on my way to work I kept trying. Finally got going and traveling approximately 20 mph and the car just completely shuts down. Got started again and proceeded to work and it happened again going about 35 mph. Ran fine for a couple of days, back to the same old thing today with the airbag light staying on. I have read of this issue before however I could not find that report today. It is very dangerous to be traveling along and have the car completely shut down on you. Ford really needs to take care of this issue. I am contemplating reporting this to a news station because it seems like they are not taking this seriously. The other reports I just read do not mention car cutting out on them or airbag and engine lights on.

Drivers side air bag indicator came on and has mostly stayed on the entire time.

I noticed the dash board around the airbag is separating about 2 months ago I tried to push the seam back down but it still puckers. Yesterday I tried to start my car and there was a continuous clicking sound coming from the dashboard and the security lock light and airbag light were flashing very fast. I just parked the car about 1 hour before and there was no problems until I came back to start it. I tried for about 1 hour but could not get it started. I have noticed there are a lot of complaints on this car and the same issues. This does seem like a recall issue. I wanted to support american made products from one of the oldest american auto makers. I am hoping you can fix this issue because I need to get the work and this is my only transportation. Dash board around passenger air bag bubbling out, lifting up, air bag light stays on in car. Worried air bag might deploy when it's not suppose to or not deploy when I need it to.

Takata recall. The airbag light continues to stay on, every once in a wail the light go off for a day or so but comes back on. When I make a turn, as I apply the brakes the car seems to slide.

We have had some colder than usual days and when I start my car, the air bag light stays on. Once I get to my destination and shut the engine off and restart it, the light goes off.
