Dealer that sold me this vehicle never informed me about any recalls and than one day my son was checking the oil while stationary and off we thought it was weird that there was a loose cable, he connects it and than he proceeded to turn on the car to our astonishment the airbag light turn on, we took it to emissions and that's when we found out how endangered our lives were, of we would have known this before, we wouldn't have gotten the car. We nearly got wrecked today on 03/04/2021, I was more scared of the vehicle in which I am than the car that nearly crashed me. . . I don't want to die in an instance of being involved in a car crash and have no money to afford another vehicle. And as we were leaving the house a few days later after 02/03/2021, my daughter in the passenger seat tried putting on her seatbelt but of no avail as the seatbelt wouldn't clip.
1. ) c/s airbag light is on - local dealership found passenger airbag in b pillar is cause - not related to recently completed recall 19s34 on passenger airbag inflater npa1908055946 per dealership. Not sure why the airbag systems in these vehicles are problematic, but the owner should not be responsible for charges for replacement of these problematic parts. Possible new recall needed. 2. ) recall 15v34 relating to leaking canister purge valve - Ford authorized an update to the vehicle powertrain control module calibrations to help prevent pressure cycles in the fuel tank - these calibrations were preformed however the purge valve has still failed. The part 9u5z-9c915-h was originally recommended 4 years ago when the recall was issued but the part was unavailable at the time, on special order. Vehicle owner requested repair / part replacement repeatedly but was told the part remained unavailable and was not an issue with the re-calibration unless the check engine light appeared. The dealership closed the recall without replacing the part - 6 months later the check engine light came on and the cause is the need for a replacement canister purge valve and the owner is now responsible for the repair/replacement costs. Recall should be honored.
I took my car to sheehy Ford of marlow heights for the airbag recall repair. Upon picking the car up after it was "fixed", there are now 3 lights on my dash that were not previously there. These lights are the airbag light, the stability control light, and the service wrench. The dealership will not cooperate as far as fixing this.
I was driving on hwy 23 when all of sudden the dash light came on saying default trac service soon. Then my steering went out && it was like I had no power steering. About 2 weeks prior I had to have tyson rod ends put on inside & out after just having them replaced in April. My airbag light comes on saying passenger airbag. A noise like a rubbing/scraping noise every time I turn the steering wheel that I've had the car looked at several times.
I took my car in for the recall for the airbag to for at karl flammer Ford in tarpon springs FL. I received my car back with bolts on the floor and the airbag indicator light not working the vehicle went back into the dealer I then received it back dents in dings on the body of the vehicle Ford has refused to do anything about this including checking the airbag indicator light not working the vehicle went back into the dealer I then received it back dents in dings on the body of the vehicle Ford has refused to do anything about this including checking the airbag. Trying to see what to do to get this problem resolved because in my eyes this airbag just not work the seat was never calibrated for the airbag.
"takata recall" I have tried to contact the local Ford dealership to fix the air bag issue but they have told me multiple times that they do not have the parts for the air bag available and I would have to wait and they would notify me when they could fix it. This has been told to me since may 2018. So 5 months later and im still told the same thing. I would like to know why the parts are still not available for my vehicle. My passenger airbag light will be on saying that the air bag is off and not even working so on top of metal fragments that could possibly come out if the air bag did work and deploy half the time its not on anyway so therefor is more risk added to whomever is in my passenger seat at the time. Ford needs to resolve this issue ASAP and stop telling people they do not have parts available at this time which I find hard to believe.
Airbag light issue light was was on when started vehicle. I brought the car to the deal and the error code was b0020-13. Issue was intermittent connection under driver's seat in the air bag harness.

I was driving on the highway and the roads were bumpy which caused the airbag light to turn on . The light does not turn off even after the car is turned off and on again. The car is in need of repair.
When the car is in motion a passenger will be sitting in the car and the air bag light will go on, saying the air bag is off. Therefore it is not protecting my passengers in my vehicle. This has happened on a continual basis since I have had the car since 2013.
