Was driving down parkway when came up on my exit it was hard to make the turn to even go up. The exit ramp the power steering light and the advanced track light and brake system. Light all came on flashing across the message screen one after another. Thank god I was able to get vehicle pulled over to shoulder and had it towed home. Also needs airbags replaced due to recall! I have contacted two local Ford dealers trying to get an appointment. Also messaged one through their website. On the phone calls I was placed on hold until the phone to shut off. Tried to call back and they just said please hold and put me right back on hold and I’ve never received a message back.

2 Air Bag problem

There is a recall date on this car dating back 2021. I bought this car in 2024. The recall problems was never addressed or fixed. This had created an electrical error in the car, given no airbags, and windows do not roll, nor does it give accurate reads on tire pressure. Unbeknownst of all this, a tire popped nearly cause me to wreck on I-5 early 2024. I have documentation supporting the sale of the car, the replacement of tires, oil changes, repairs & towing incurred all on behalf of this car. I would not have bought it knowing there was a recall that was not addressed. This car is a rebuilt title that has been in accidents.

Lost turn signal on front of car but have on back air bags or on recall do to decoty air bags and my steering going down the road went from soft to hard and couldn’t turn my car at all loss of power steering.

I have contacted the Ford dealership in my area over a year ago and still have not been serviced on the air bag recall. Also, the power steering system is faulty. I am getting no assistance in repairing from the location the vehicle was purchased from. Power steering message appeared on my dash while driving. This is the second vehicle I have gotten from the dealer with a power steering issue.

Airbags did not deploy in a head-on collision that resulted in a total loss of my vehicle. My safety was put in danger as I did not have protection from hitting the steering wheel, driver's side door, or center console.

Ford recall 21s12 (NHTSA recall 21v-158) (driver's airbag) has no remedy yet. The earlier recall for the passenger side airbag took many years complete. I'm the original owner, and it has been under air bag recalls that seem to not have Ford's attention for several years of my twelve years of ownership. Isn't about time for NHTSA to start applying pressure for Ford to take action? no incident yet, but I really don't want to have one either.

Manufacturer has failed to fix safety recall notice 21s12 / shtsa recall 21v-158 in a timely manner. The recall date was March of 2021, a notice was received in April 2021. This issue is still outstanding with no repair in the imminent future. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle, but have no other options but to continue to drive it.

The manufacturer has not supplied a repair part for a defective airbag that could kill me or my children as this is one of our primary vehicles. It has been 1. 5 years since the recall, this needs to be remedied more quickly! we have high humidity here, which makes it even more likely to explode. Please put pressure on Ford to fix this issue.

Notified of recall 21v-158 for the driver side airbag in April 2021. It has been over a year and there is still no remedy. I do not consider this to be resolved in a timely manner. Does NHTSA have a definition of "timely manner" that is imposed on manufactures to complete repairs associated with safety recalls? what is being done by NHTSA and Ford to complete the repairs needed to comply with the recall?.

Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle experienced a loss of power steering assist. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the steering column needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. 16 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 11/18/2021

The contact owns a 2010ford Fusion. The contact daughter stated while driving approximately 40mph when the vehicle was struck from behind, which resulted in non of the airbags inflating, with the exception of the driver side airbag which only partially inflated. The contact stated no warning lights was illuminated. The contacts daughter sustained head and neck injuries and sought medical treatment. A police report was taken and the vehicle was towed to a local police lot. The manufacturer was not informed of failure. The failure mileage was unavailable.

The passenger airbag has not been replaced but I have a work order from my local dealership claiming they completed the recall. And my power steering/advance trac and automatic breaking system are not working. My power steering locked up on me driving 70 mph going down the highway. 3 of my 4 interior door latches have come apart and broke causing us to have to roll the window down to get out of the vehicle. There are a couple more items that should be considered safety recalls that are not on my model and year, but are covered on other years before and after my year.

I'm writing a complaint because my passenger side airbag was recalled and I was contacted very fast and it was done quickly and this time it's been almost 6 months and I have not received any more word of when they will have the parts. I have contacted woody anderson Ford dealership in huntsville, al and the dealer is giving me the run around about the recall. I have provided the same information multiple times and the dealership refuses to order parts for my vehicle. The last recall (passenger airbags replaced) for the same vehicle was just as bad. It this same dealership 3 years to replace the affected airbags. I can not wait this long again. Ford motor company called me last time and told me that the car was not safe to drive. Now, this recall affects the driver side airbags again for the same reasons. I offered to pay for the driver's side air bag, but was told there was nothing wrong with the airbags. I purchased this vehicle March 24th and was not aware of the airbag recall that would be issued the next day. I called the Ford dealer in bloomington, IL in regards to the recall I was aware of on March 23rd and was told that the recall was on backorder and they had no information about when it would be available. I was not informed of any safety concerns in purchasing or driving the vehicle. On may 16, my daughter was in an accident driving this vehicle. She was hit directly on the driver side. The airbags did not deploy. Her forehead broke the driver side window resulting in cuts to her head, eyelid and concussion. The police officer who responded to the scene said that he was surprised the airbags did not go off in this severe of a crash. My car insurance has determined the vehicle a total loss. Title is being turned over to state farm.

I currently got a letter stating that if I were to get into an accident and my airbags were to deploy they would most likely explode causing sharp mental fragments ti come out which would hit the driver and possibly other people in the car. I am currently pregnant and have three small children Ford won't due anything to get the problem fixed nor are they willing to get me in a safe car that doesn't run the risk of killing my children. I was already in an accident in the last few years that caused the airbags to deploy and if it were in this car it would most likely kill my children. Why is this something that Ford wouldn't allow drivers to get parts faster or put owners in safe rental cars?.

The NHTSA recall 21v-158 has been outstanding for more than a year. The letter I received from Ford stated that "parts are anticipated to be available in the third quarter of 2021" which is now more than six months ago. I don't want to lose an eye or be killed by my airbag. Yet, the timeliness of the repair by Ford fails to show any urgency.

Engine light, advance trac light, abs light, battery light, tire pressure monitoring system light, alarm light suddenly came on. Then dash went completely blank. Headlights went out,lost control of vehicle at high speed. Dash lights came back on stirring control of vehicle lost. All dash lights started flashing. Breaking system not working.

Electronic power steering assist failure faulty engineering and failure to acknowledge the problem as a manufacturer for all models affected not just certain vins the car is one of the vins not recalled for the issue but has the stated issue like the other vehicles recalled, fully grown healthy man cant even move the steering wheel. Fird says it is not under recall the entire power steering rack has been replaced and still has no power steering.

I bought the car used and the power steering went out by the third day and there was a recall on the power steering and this is very dangerous I have a two year old who is in the car with me as well which is not safe. I have seen many people since 2016 with the same issue I have a it is very pricey to fix. Why is there no recall on the 2010 but it's one for 2011 and up!.
