Air bags did not deploy in 45 mph front end t-bone crash to the front passenger side of the Ford Fusion. The 2011 Ford Fusion was previous repaired for the titika air bag fault but failed to deploy causing my wife nerve damage and additional injures that are still being evaluated. Please investigate the fault as I have seen numerous reports / complaints from others with this same issue / the air bags still not deploying after the fix. . Thank you.

2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Tl-the contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that a recall notification was received for the driver side air bag and taken the vehicle for the repair at theodore robins Ford dealer, (2060 harbor blvd, costa mesa, CA 92627, (949) 642-0010). The contact stated after the repair was completed, the technician informed her that the traction warning light was illuminated, that the air bag module needed to be replaced and that the air bag module may not deploy in the event of an accident. The vehicle was not repaired due to the repair fees. The vehicle was taken to two independent mechanic for second opinion and was informed that the dealer had to take responsibility. The contact also mention that the seat belt on the driver side failed to retract and was loose. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 84,000. Aw.

3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Tl the contact owned a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the vehicle was involved in a front end collision. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard where it was deemed destroyed. There was one injury that required medical attention. The contact suffered from severe pain and multiple bruises. 6 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

We were stationary at a red light at a 4-way intersection. A car from the opposite direction (coming towards us) ran the red light and hit us head-on doing approx. 50 mph. The passenger airbag in our car did not deploy during the head-on collision. The driver's airbag did deploy. I was in the passenger's seat and suffered numerous injuries due to the airbag not deploying.

7 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

I was in a single vehicle accident February 23, 2015 where I slid off an icy back road causing significant front end damage which was repaired at milnes Ford in lapeer, mi. Due to the amount of damage the airbags should have deployed but they never did. I now have a bulged disk in my neck and another in my lumbar spine. A later computer scan for a separate issue indicated the airbags did not deploy as they should have. When the original repairs were done, the dealership did not check and never addressed the failure to deploy. The only towing that was done was to get my vehicle out of a ditch.

The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. While driving approximately 25 mph, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond causing the vehicle to crash into a gate. The air bags failed to deploy. Vehicle hydroplaned on snowy I-71 and went off the road vehicle was totaled including front end collision to tree but air bag did not deploy.

10 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 12/08/2013

Vehicle was being driven slowly to parking area when it suddenly accelerated and engine kept revving up and it lunged forward and crashed into a large tree, demolishing the front end. The Ford parts performed exactly as they should have, preventing damage to the windshield or cabin area, but airbags did not deploy. The driver was not injured but was shaken up by the accident. Upon inspection by the body shop and mechanic, the linkage was broken and damaged and needs further investigation to see if a defect in the linkage was a cause or contributing factor. Damage to the front end is substantial and estimated in excess of $8,000 with the seen damage thus far.
