1 Air Conditioner problem

Failure Date: 07/30/2018

My 2013 Ford Fusion is experiencing an issue with the climate control system and the window controls. I have lost communication with the front control interface module, door control module a, and door control module b. When this happens, my ecm displays the following codes, p193e: a/c clutch request signal, u0199: lost communication with door control module a, u0200: lost communication with door control module b, and u0256: lost communications front controls interface module. This happens quite frequently, and it has happened when my car is in motion and when my car is stationary. Sometimes this happens when I start my car and sometimes this happens when I am driving. To be clear, I have no air conditioning, no ventilation, and I can not roll down my windows. To make matters worse, this seems to happen more frequently when the temperature outside is towards 90 or more degrees fahrenheit. This means the interior temperature of the care gets to be very hot. In my experience, the only way to fix this issue is to disconnect the battery terminals and then reconnect them but this only offers a temporary fix to the problem.

2 Air Conditioner problem

Failure Date: 07/28/2017

I was driving in my car, when I began feeling light headed and then passed out. When I awoke I was in the hospital with v-fib. I had my car worked on 2 weeks prior to the accident for the air conditioning/circulation. They did not check my blood for carbon monoxide poisoning at the time. I now have a pace maker and defibrillator at 33 years old. I am concerned with the issues that Ford is having with the explorers and did the same thing happen to me in my Ford Fusion.

3 Air Conditioner problem

Failure Date: 04/07/2016

The air conditioning compressor clutch fell off the vehicle while driving. The bolt retaining the clutch assembly sheared off resulting in the clutch assembly separating from the compressor pulley.

4 Air Conditioner problem

Failure Date: 10/21/2015

Dealer service manager states the air conditioning compressor suffered a "catastrophic failure" of its internal parts. As a result, the vehicle shut down while it was being driven. Dealer states the entire ac system has to be replaced at a cost of $2500. 00. The pcm may also be affected but that cannot be determined until the vehicle is in a state where it can be started, which won't be achieved until after the entire ac system is replaced. This exorbitant repair cost is not covered under any warranty.
