I was driving to work and I heard a loud sound follow by oil pressure lost I pull over at a gas station and notice that all my oil was poring out out my vehicle . I than car for a tow truck to have my vehicle towed . . Why dis my vehicle do that. I did not make it to work . . . I had to call off was not happy about it. This situation cost me my job due to car failure. . It happened on city street leading to high way.

The contact stated that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 17v209000 (engine and engine cooling), but the contact did not receive a notification. The contact stated that the engine functioned abnormally, there was a drastic reduction in speed, and an abnormal noise was heard. Elder Ford of tampa (9560 n florida Ave, tampa, FL 33612) was notified and did not offer a loaner vehicle. The dealer scheduled an appointment for a later date to determine if the failure was related to the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was not available.

Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving at 25mph the contact notice abnormal noise(knocking) coming from the engine. No lights illuminated. The vehicle was not towed. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired before when the egine caught on fire. The failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer timberland Ford 2441 s byron butler pkwy, perry, FL 32348 (850)-584-6178 but no diagnosed was performed. The vehicle was not fixed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but no further action was taken. The failure mileage was 120,000. Ck.

4 Loud Engine Noise problem

Failure Date: 05/12/2017

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. While driving 25 mph, a loud noise was heard coming from the front of the vehicle and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed with a coolant tubing failure, which would cause the vehicle to overheat. The vehicle underwent a temporary remedy. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17v209000 (engine and engine cooling); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but did not assist. The VIN was invalid. The failure mileage was 33,000.

5 Loud Engine Noise problem

Failure Date: 04/28/2017

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact heard an abnormal noise while driving the vehicle. The dealer replaced the battery, but it failed to correct the noise. While making a turn, there was a sudden loss of power and a warning indicator randomly illuminated for run power and the vehicle stalled several times without warning. The contact had to coast the vehicle over to the side of the road. The contact had to restart the vehicle a few times due to the failure. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not included in service campaign number: 14n02 to address the pcm reprogramming. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and was not repaired.
