The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the check engine light had illuminated, prompting the contact to drive their vehicle over to the local dealer where it was diagnosed. The code that came up was cylinder 2 misfire, the contact was advised that the spark plugs, fuel injectors, and that the engine needed to be replaced due to coolant intrusion that had leaked into the cylinder head, the contact was informed that the coolant intrusion was in relation to a undisclosed recall campaign number, however VIN tool confirms there are no open recalls on contacts vehicle. The spark plugs and fuel injectors were replaced on the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 61,000.
