63 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 03/12/2023

While sitting in a fast food, drive-through line, I heard a pop and my brake pedal pressed all the way to the floor and the brakes completely failed and r he car started to roll forward. There was no warning. There was nothing wrong with the brakes whatsoever but all the pressure on the brake pedal and the brakes failed. After getting out of the fast food line, I parked in the parking lot of the restaurant and checked under the hood and there was brake fluid everywhere on the passenger side of the engine compartment. There was no brake fluid inside of the brake fluid compartment. On Monday, 3/13/2023. I had the vehicle towed to a mechanic shop to look at I have yet to get a response on what the problem is. Not less than five minutes before getting in the fast food drive-through line I was driving on the freeway. Had this had happened on the freeway. I probably wouldn’t be here talking to you making his complaint.

64 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 02/25/2023

Upon trying to stop at a stop sign my son was unable to stop in time and rolled into the roadway which caused a collision with another vehicle. He depressed the brakes and clearly heard a grinding noise and never felt the pumping feeling under his foot for the antilock breaks. He thought he couldnt stop due to ice on the roadway, but have since seen the brake recall on my vehicle. The accident caused the vehicle to become a total loss. The witnesses said my son stopped at the stop sing and pulled into the roadway in front of car going 50mph. That could not have happened by the angle of the car at the time of the accident. Had he stopped like the 'witnesses" said, he would have entered the roadway a couple second later and then become t-boned by the other car. He was hit on the rear quarterfinal coinciding with my sons story he could not stop. My son has held to his story that he tried to stop and the car would not stop. I have felt on occasion since Dec my brakes feeling a little off at times but never on a consistant basis to get it looked at. My vehicle had a small leakage in Dec which we could not locate and it never occurred since. We checked the brake fluid and all fluids routinely since. Never seen the leak since. I also put four brand new tires on my vehicle two days prior to the accident. It does appear in the photos after the accident there were new parts on the wheel in the area of the brakes. I only owned this vehicle for 9 months prior to this incident.

65 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 01/17/2023

My 2017 Ford Fusion suddenly has a brake fluid leak and all fluids have been previously checked on a routine basis. My brakes suddenly wouldn’t work while driving and trying to come to a stop and I had to pull on my emergency brake and then put in park as it will not stop completely while sitting at a red light or intersection. I have read the multiple complaints that have been reported with this problem and I am also reporting this issue with my 2017 Ford Fusion as well!.

66 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 01/10/2023

Over the past 6-8 months, I have replaced the front passenger brake line two times and the front driver side brake line once. If needed, I have receipts showing I have purchased brake fluid and new brake lines on three separate occasions in recent months. I have pictures of the most recent brake line failure. On all three occasions the brake lines have split/burst, I’ve had no warning the brakes are failing or losing fluid or pressure. The low brake fluid light does not come on till minutes after the brakes fail. Don’t know there’s a problem till I try to stop and the pedal goes straight to the floor. Right before the brake pedal hits the floor, there’s minimal braking power and you can gradually slow down. The last time this happened I was on the PA turnpike outside of pittsburgh traveling 70mph. This was extremely unsafe, I thought for sure I was going to cause a major accident as I could not the stop the car in rush hour traffic.
