The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. While driving 30 mph, the vehicle decelerated and an abnormal noise was heard. Upon inspection, the contact found that the front driver's side axle had detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to gaudin Ford (6625 w roy horn way, las vegas, nevada), but the diagnostic results were not disclosed. The contact attributed the failure to the dealer's repair of NHTSA campaign number: 18v167000 (steering). The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
