Engine Failure Problems of Ford Fusion Hybrid

I was driving myself to my emt salary, full benefit job when my car began to smoke. When I pulled over and lifted the hood flames came roaring out. I personally was able to put it out being a former fire fighter. Now insurance says they can not cover this due to it being an engine failure. Despite full coverage, gap insurance, and fire casualty insurance they could not pay out for a new engine. Only the fire damage done under the hood and nothing else. The dealership explained I needed an entirely new engine put in and that it would cost 7,000. 00. I had this car less then 6 months when it caught fire. I also have 11,000. 00+ loan out on this car. I filed a claim with Ford motor and they have ignored all my attempts. I am unable to get another loan due to already having an open car loan and not enough credit. I lost my job as a result to not being able to afford a rental after blowing through my entire savings for one. I temporarily lost custody of my son due to not transportation to his school. I lost my home due to not having my full time job anymore. I am nearing the point of living on the streets. I lost my emotional support animal due to having no home. Please help a single mother come back from such a loss.

My car was making a load noise so I took it to a mechanic who referred me to the dealer because of the complexity of the vehicle. Towed the car to morgan hill Ford store in morgan hill California and was told that the engine was no good, that the motor bolts dislodged and melted causing the bolts to shred; the dealer service person ryan advised that the shredded metal got into the oil and went through my entire engine causing the engine fail. My car was only 3. 5 years old, 90,000 miles but frequent oil changes with the extended maintenance package. There was no hint that the car was having issues, no engine light, nor the check oil light. I have a 2013 Ford fusion that was recalled for faulty engine bolts.

While driving the car at about 25 miles an hour, first the traction control light came on then the engine light then the airbag light then there was a warning to stop driving the car. A big exclamation mark was in the display. The car lost power and slowed to a stop. I pulled to the side of the road and turned off the car. I tried restarting the car and all of the warning lights were still there so I ran the vehicle diagnostics report. Which stated there was a throttle problem and engine failure and airbag failure and brake failure. I had the car towed to the Ford dealership.

Engine failed at stoplight with loss of power steering on 6/26/16. Restart successful. Subsequent multiple engine failure chimes occurred. Dealer "repaired wiring". Several hundred miles since, not further incidents (engine failures or multiple chimes).
