The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic for a second opinion, where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the windshield wiper motor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired at the consumer's expense; however, after 3 months the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the same local independent mechanic for the windshield wiper motor replacement. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.

The contact also stated that the front passenger's side window would continuously roll up and down upon starting the vehicle and while driving. The contact stated upon engaging the front passenger’s and driver's side seat heaters, there was an abnormal sound coming from the rear seats.
