I was driving on a secondary road at approximately 35 - 40 mph and as I came to the crest of a downhill section, I lightly touched the brakes due to snow on the road. The truck veered violently to the left and went into a skid. I corrected and again lightly touched the brakes and the truck again veered violently to the left and I was unable to correct before the truck left the roadway and struck a large tree stump. The truck is awaiting insurance adjustment decision on repair.
Consumer states the abs brakes don't work. Took vehicle to the Ford service department and they didn't know what the cause of the problem was. . Consumer had both the back and front brakes replaced. When driving down a hill the vehicle won't stop.
Torions should of been put on instead spring brakes were put on.

When abs brake system is activated, headlights/ horn and windshield wipers become inoperable, cause unknown. Consumer stated the dealer replaced the ignition but the problem still exists.
Vehicle pulls to left when braking at low speeds dealer did aligment , disassembled brakes, and inspected them, but defect stills occurs. The misalignment caused wear on left front tire. Alignment was done twice and consumer was taking back the vehicle for another alignment.
