Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problems of the 2010 Ford Ranger

Takata recall. . . �. . I have not received a notice to take the vehicle to a Ford dealership to make the necessary repairs of the inflator.

I received a letter from Ford on April 16,2018 stating that inflator parts were available for my Ford Ranger passenger side. I called my dealer vic bailey Ford, spartanburg, SC. They did not have parts yet and today may 29, 2018 they still do not have parts at their repair facility. Notice 16s26.

Takata recall my local Ford car dealer still has not notified me, or replaced the recalled air bag inflator, as required by the safety recall notice I received in July 2016.

Takata recall - over 1 year old with no action - the passenger frontal airbag inflator could rupture if the vehicle is involved in a crash where the supplemental frontal airbags are designed to deploy. This defect report is in response to takata dirs 16e-042, 16e-043, 16e-044.

Ford has not taken care of this air bag inflator recall in a timely manner,received recall notice July 2016. Almost a year! Ford should keep customers updated and informed of their status.

I received a recall notice in July of 2016 about the passenger frontal airbag inflator being defective on my 2010 Ford Ranger. I called on July 25, 2017 about the recall and they said the repair parts were not available yet. It's ridiculous that it takes this long to correct the problem. In the mean time, my passenger is at risk of injury or death.

Takata recall I received a recall notice from Ford motor company on July 2016 about a recall on my vehicle, the passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash resulting in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants. I called covington Ford and Ford customer service on 11/15/17 and the both stated that the parts are still not available and would contact me when they would be available.
