Carrier/rack Problems of Ford Ranger - part 2

While driving on the highway, I was having difficulty steering. The car was pulling to the left and I had to pull over because it was too difficult to manage. Upon inspection, the right front tire was toed-in and the upper tire stabilizer arm broke away from the frame at the bracket. The bracket attaching the arm to the frame had snapped. The frame itself just below that bracket was cracked with severe rot on both sides. The rest of the truck is in perfect condition except for the frame. I was told that this cannot be fixed.

While driving 60 mph and without warning, spare tire unlatched, and or wire rusted, resulting in release of spare tire. There was a metal wire locking tire in place.

The cable that supports the spare tire broke at approximately 40 mph. The fromt of the spare droped down contacting the road which resulted in the rear of the truck being lifted in the air. Luckly this happened on a secluded section of the road and there was no other traffic. I can't emagine what would have happened if this had occured on a buisy expressway during rush hour traffic. I called the dealer since I was returning home after having all four tires replaced under the recall program. The dealer informed me I should call Ford customer service. Customer service thanked me for the call but said there was no program that would cover the cost of replacing the faulty cable.

Carrier that holds spare tire rubs aganist tire whenever vehicle moves up and down which leads to tire wearing out. Tire has never been used before. Contacted dealer and the dealer is not willing to do anything.

Bill pierre Ford of seattle washington, misusing the global positioning system. Vehicle is fully paid for, management continues to track vehicle, harassing myself and other customers. Dealer accounting is inaccurate, did not credit all payments, and after request to void extended warranty, did not reduce contract price as agreed.

2001 Ford Ranger with broken spare tire cable. Consumer states that when he went to change the tire on his truck the spare tire wasn't there and the spare tire cable was broke. Mechanic stated that either the cable was cut or had been pulled. The consumer stated it looked as though the cable pulled free of the bracket which held the wheel and the wheel fell to the ground at some point.
