I got an 2001 Ford Ranger used. Noticed something strange with the handling. I also noticed a banging on the floor on rough roads. It took me a two months to find the problem. Both bolts or the anti sway bar were broken on the front end.

2 Front Suspension Stabilizer Bar problem of the 1999 Ford Ranger

Failure Date: 06/15/2005

While driving on highway noticed something bouncing down the road in mirror that appeared to have come off of my vehicle. Upon later inspection noticed that left front sway bar link had failed. Steering arm was still attached to link, but portion of link attached to sway bar was completely missing.
