The contact owns a 2006 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that the vehicle would sporadically stall without warning. When the vehicle stalled, the speedometer would fluctuate back and forth. At times, the vehicle would not restart. The dealer made ten attempts to duplicate the failure but to no avail. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. No repairs were performed. The current mileage was 98,900 and the approximate failure mileage was 78,485.
The contact owns a 2006 Ford Taurus. He stated that in extremely cold temperatures the vehicle would not start. The theft light would illuminate whenever the vehicle stalled. This is a government owned fleet vehicle (the florida department of law enforcement). This vehicle has stalled five (5) times. I took the vehicle to the Ford of pompano beach dealership and they could not find anything wrong with the vehicle.
