I can hear the gas sloshing around in my gas tank while I'm driving my car is this a normal function.

I was slowing down from approximately 40mph for a stop sign. Normal/below normal driving conditions. And the car just died at abt 20mph. Full tank of premium gas. No sputter. No hesitation. And one stopped the vehicle started right back up again. This was in phoenix arizona.
A fuel sensor failed recently for the third time in 3 years. Each time there was more than half a tank of gasoline onboard. The most recent occurrence caused the engine to stop completely while on a freeway traveling at 55 mph.
Vehicle stalled multiple times at highway speeds on busy interstate. After a few start/stall cycles, motor would not start at all. Full fuel tank, well maintained vehicle, with only about 42k miles and no damage history. Needed to push off roadway, very hazardous situation. Towed to garage, currently awaiting diagnosis.

My care only has 46+ thousand miles on it. In February of 2017, I came out to start my car as I have done every day since I got it as a used car at 22,000 miles . The car would not start. It just turned over, but would not start! I had it towed to a certified mechanic, and it was found to be a bad fuel module under the back seat. It was replaced and drove fine for about 6 months. It did it again in early July 2017. Took it back, module was bad again. Replaced again. Drove it for 1 day, tank full of 93 gas, it shuts off in the middle of the road, engine light comes on, and would not start (it turned over, but would not start like it was out of gas). I checked for a recall, and in August 25, 2016 NHTSA did a recall on campaign number: 16v621000. I called Ford as directed to do, and was told my car did not have a recall on the fuel system. I argued that I have the campaign number, but the person vehemently refused to even look up the number. The car is back in the shop. I love my car, but I am frustrated that Ford will not acknowledge the recall from August 2016. What do I do? I can upload all of my invoices form my mechanic when he provides the to me.
There is a serious gas leak on my Ford Taurus. The mechanic lifted the vehicle and the gas was just dripping out of the gas tank. I was informed not to drive the car since it is a fire hazard.

On or around 10/14/2014 my Ford Taurus sho 2010 suddenly lost power and started to shake and missfire. Had it towed to Ford griffin. They stated it was a bad injector. On or around 4/27/2015 heading home from work I pulled off the freeway on to hwy 164 in heavy traffic the car suddenly lost power and started to shake and missfire almost causing me to get hit from the cars behind me, luckily they swerved on to shoulder to avoid hitting me. Had the car towed to griffin Ford. Again it was a bad injector, cylinder #6 the first time now #4. Then on or around 8/15/2015 coming home from the store the car suddenly lost power, started shaking and missfire. Had the car towed to griffin again. It was another bad injector #2 cylinder. They said they couldn't fix it until they found the cause. They looked in the gas tank for contaminants and found nothing. Then tested for alcohol levels in gas found nothing ran some other test found nothing. Finally just fixed it. So whats going on? I'm somewhat afraid of driving the car for fear of causing a accident. It's my only car so I guess I have no choice.

Travelling at about 30 mph on a drizzly road my 06 Ford Taurus se brakes were applied and the Taurus slowed down a little but then hydroplaned/slid into the rear of a grand prix. Airbags deployed as the Taurus hit the grand prix. Taurus engine was still on and the driver moved it to the side of road and shut off. After leaving Taurus for a minute to check for condition of other grand prix driver, Taurus driver returned to Taurus to see right rear seat on fire. The tires were a year old and the brakes had recently been maintained by a local Ford dealer. About 1/4 tank of fuel was in the Taurus. This model year Taurus is a popular used car.

The seal leaks on the fuel tank.
I have a 2005 Ford Taurus. After buying this vehicle the dealership has closed its doors. I have been to a few shops that are not sure how to fix my dashboard problem. My fuel gauge is not readable. I have had quotes to be over 1000. 00. I do not have that kind of money to repair this. I just had our Ford truck in for a bad coil. I have never had to replace those. The mechanic said our truck that the Fords will run hot. It had burnt wires in the coil. We are hoping for no further damage. No warning lights or anything. I guess at my mileage and fill my tank. I just cant believe that it is a guessing game and can't get this repaired for less. I am outraged as a Ford owner. We have had these vehicles maintained.
