Steering didn't work correctly which led to brakes not doing what I needed which led to slamming into a cement edge at a freeway exit or entrance. Seat belts locked up. Air bags did not deploy. Front passenger tire flat. Car towed next day. Ford dealership did nothing even when it was discovered Ford sold us a car with a flat spare tire (donut). Dealership said no recalls, but coverup or fixed but not correctly previously? car purchased used. Ford dealership said to go to body shop. Body shop couldn't do anything unless we paid $6,000. 00 to get the seat belts replaced. That's 1/3 the price financed for the car!!!! safety put at risk: flat spare tire & seat belts locked up. The dealership said nothing wrong with brakes & steering according to their electronic diagnosis. Didn't even look at brakes & steering. 2 incidents total so far with brakes & steering. Didn't think anything significant the first time. Seat belts locked up confirmed by certified body shop. No it has not been inspected by anybody else. No warning lights appeared. I unhooked wife's seat belt so she could exit the car as needed & it slammed into her left breast. See attached picture. It took a week for the bruise to go away. Bruise got worse before it disappeared. Hurt a lot.

My fuel system went off all kinds of error coming on car stops while running on the highway.
I had problems with my fuel injection for almost 2 years looked it up and even took it to 3 dealerships and a full services place all saying the same thing. So I looked it up and there was a recall for it and seatbelts and airbags but my VIN# wasn't on the list. Everyone I know who got a car like mines had the recall and was fixed. I am now paying out of pocket for the airbags and my radio and back cam now is acting crazy show upside down and the radio keep going out. I need some help can't afford all these issues with my car when they are on your recall list . Please if you can re-evaluate my number the back cam acts up when backing up everything is upside down. The fuel injection have problems when starting and while driving it will slow down then caught up and speed up. The airbags recently came out getting it fix by a body shop and paying out of pocket to keep my insurance from totaling it out. The seat belts keep locking up at times. Love my car please help if possible.
Airbag light stays on.
I would say 7 times out of 10 while driving in my car the driver side seat belt randomly pops unbuckled or if I reach for something it unbuckles. It is a little scary to be honest. Sometimes when I break the slightest pressure cause it to fail.

Approximately 3 minutes after turning on the navigational system the seatbelt began to tighten on my son, the driver of the car. He pulled into a parking space and tried to loosen the seatbelt but was not successful; the car turned off and restarted to try and reset the seatbelt but all attempts failed. The driver's side seatbelt was permanently locked.
The lower anchors for child safety seats in the rear seat caused significant bruising to the rear seat occupants after a rear-end collision. The vehicle was stopped in traffic when a car struck it from behind.

The drivers side seat belt has spooled all the way out and will not retract on 2013 Ford Taurus. New parts on the way, but shouldn't the seat belt assembly last more than 4-5 years?.
Was riding in back seat of this car when it was rear ended by a 2014 Jeep cherokee. Taurus was stopped on highway, and hit squarely from behind. Both back seat drivers were severely bruised in lower back by latch bracket. The impact was not extreme. No air bags were deployed. I'd hate to be in back of that car if hit at full speed. It would seem likely that that bracket would produce severe lower back/tailbone injuries in a maximum speed rear impact. Of second note, I'm a mechanical engineer, I noted that the failure of the rear bumper frame tube was very brittle in its failure mode. I'd have thought the metal would have stretched and given more. It simply fractured at the brackets to the frame and snapped in half in the middle, allowing the trunk lid and fenders to take the brunt of the impact.
Seat belt will not buckle on front passenger side I think something wrong with the latch inside because the male will not fit inside the buckle.

Airbag exploded injury in my face.
My problem is my accelerator has been sticking making it difficult to control speed in traffic. I am concerned the problem will gradually get worse. I contacted Ford motor corp about the possibility of a recall or warranty with this issue. With a small amount of research it seems there is well known issues with this make and model for accelerator problems. See my correspondence with Ford below: "hi ------, my name is [xxx] and I'm from Ford's customer relationship center (crc). I received your email regarding your 2005 Ford Taurus se. I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the seatbelt and accelerator sticking. I completely understand your concern for the safety of yourself and your family. After reviewing my resources, there are no warranties or programs in effect that would provide coverage for your current concern. We recommend that you keep your receipts in case Ford initiates a recall in the future based on customer feedback. . . ------------------- original message ------------------- . . . I have couple of safety concerns. I love my 2005 Ford Taurus and I want to continue to own it. Last year I had a seatbelt issue where intermittently the buckle releases while car is in motion. I called dealership to ask if Ford will take care of this for safety reasons and was promptly told no. Recently I have an accelerator that is sticking. The pedal returns to position but the rpm's remain elevated. I have not notified the dealership yet about this issue. I wanted to contact Ford corp first so I could have documentation on this recent safety concern for I have not had much luck in the past contacting the dealership. . . . My son is 22 yrs old he bought this 199 Ford Taurus from a used car dealer in March 2013,him and his girlfriend was driving down the highway when all of a sudden, the car jerked to the left really hard he could not control it no steering control, needless to say he went down a ditch thru a yard and hit this ladys parked car in her drive way totalling it,and hit the side of her house, his girl friend was critically injured having to be airlifted, this accident resulted in a seriouse injury and seriouse property damage, his girl friends seat belt failed to lock causing her to go forward the airbags did deploy but because seat belt failed to lock her head ended up hitting windshield when she got jerked forward. ,,,after accident had the car looked at by a mechanic, the sub frame had rusted out and broken and the lower control arm had snapped causing the car to jerk to the left and causing this severe accident.
On Saturday, Aug 17th, our 2013 Ford Taurus police interceptor (sedan) VIN:1fahp2l8xdg123321 was stopped at a place of business and turned off. Initially, the vehicle would not restart. After a few minutes the vehicle started but would not move. The vehicle was removed from the premises by a wrecker and taken to griffin Ford CO in thomasville, GA. This date, Aug. 22, 2013, I spoke with a serviceman at griffin Ford and was told that the front wheel axle had broken and that the repair part would be back-ordered (placed on an emergency need basis), but no repair time frame could be given due to the fact that there were no replacement parts in the country. We have had previous problems with both of our (above VIN # and VIN:1fahp2l81dg123322) 2013 Ford Taurus police vehicles with the problems previous to this being excessive gas fumes within both vehicles (fuel pump was replaced before recall was issued on both cars but after receiving recall, fuel pumps were again replaced), check engine light was on (evaporative emissions solenoid was replaced, air bag light was on, seat belt sensor was bad and the buckle/sensor was replaced. All of these issues have occured this year. As you are aware, all repairs take time and we are especially concerned about the time frame to receive and repair the wheel axle. Have there been other reports of this type of problem? looking forward to a response from your agency. Diane h. Causey mayor, city of coolidge, GA 229-346-3551 - phone.

I had an accident. When I was hit my seat belts did not function effectively, and therefore I was injured.
My daughter had an accident in a 2002 Ford Taurus se where she impacted a concrete barrier head on and hard enough to total the vehicle which was owned and insured by me. The worse of the impact was on the drivers side front end. Only the passenger airbag deployed with no one seated there, but her drivers side airbag did not deploy at all. This resulted in a concussion and facial lacerations and bruising when her face hit the steering wheel. The seat belt restraining system failed to act properly to protect her from this injury. I have contacted Ford, but they don't care and they advised me that this is how it is designed to work. So it's accepteable to Ford that their restraining system allows injuries? I hope that she does not suffer from brain trauma and I hope that the wound heals with minimul scarring. This is unbelievable. If there is a class action suit involved, I would like to participate.
