The drivers seat in my 2000 Windstar became an issue on February 22, 2001, which was repaired for the first time on March 13 2001. Since then, it has been in and out for repairs or replacements 6 times. When the problem occurred again, Ford motor company will not fix it because of the expiration of its warranty. However, there?s no effort to solve the problem, just to perform replacements and repairs until the warranty expires.

Driver's leather power seat, on the left side vertical seat frame which ends at the seat, has a very sharp edge, which cuts through the seat's padding/ leather cover. This could cause injuries to the driver's left side.
