The contact owns a 2000 Ford Windstar. The contact stated that while driving 10 mph, the vehicle jerked and all the electrical systems in the vehicle shut off completely. The contact was able to safely drive the vehicle home. The contact also stated that the vehicle would overheat and the ant-freeze would leak. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was contacted and they stated that the vehicle was not under warranty. The failure mileage was 73,000 and the current mileage was 120,000.

Fuel was leaking into the converter. This caused the vehicle to overheat, and smoke started to come from under the hood. Dealership informed the consumer of the problem, but did not resolve it.

Vehicle's blower was working, however no heat was coming out, vehicle continued to experience heating problems and dealer found coolant was low, 2 weeks later check engine light illuminated and short time later, vehicle overheated, dealer stated to consumer that vehicle needed a new engine.
The vehicle overheated, consumer was informed by the dealer that the head cover gasket needed to be replaced. Customer would like to be reimbursed for expenses.
