GMC C2500 owners have reported 2 problems related to brake antilock control unit/module (under the service brakes category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Apparently, the wheel speed sensors malfunctioned and caused my suburban to fail to stop at an intersection. No auto repair shop could identify what the problem was. Numerous costly repairs were made that didn't fix the problem. The vehicle was dangerous for months before I researched it on the internet and found what the problem was. If the car is defective and has been recalled in other countries there should at least be information available at repair shops on how to fix the problem.

Wheel speed sensor failure, why is there a recall only for the northeast for wheel speed sensors in corrosive environments? I live in salt lake city utah, all of the roads in utah are kept thawed with salt all winter long. Yet the recall is only for the "salt belt states".
