2 Brake Sensor problem of the 2002 GMC C2500

Failure Date: 10/18/2005

Gm recall #05068 anti- lock causing increased stopping distances, gm is only repairing this problem on 1/2 ton products due to the fact it is a simple inexpensive repair. I own a 3/4 ton truck with the exact same problem but due to the fact a repair consists of replacement of the front wheel bearings they (gm) have chosen not to include 3/4 ton in this recall. I have on several occasions had increased stopping distances due to the sensor failure, my dealership said they can repair gm's defect at a price of $800. 00 to me.
