One problem related to transmission solenoid has been reported for the 2003 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
It appears that the transmission/solenoid failed. The SUV does not always go into gear. Slips out of gear. After SUV sits for a while it goes into gear only to resort back to afore mentioned problem.
