One problem related to brake master cylinder has been reported for the 2004 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated intermittently the vehicle coasts through intersections while the brake pedal is depressed. Also, the brake pedal has collapsed to the floor on other occasions. In addition, the abs activates on dry pavement. When the vehicle was taken to the dealership for the abs, they replaced the control valve which caused the brake pedal to have more movement. The master cylinder was also replaced, but this did not remedy the problem. The contact feels it should be a recall issue.
