Other Fuel System Tank Mounting problems of the 2007 GMC Envoy

Two problems related to other fuel system tank mounting have been reported for the 2007 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Other Fuel System Tank Mounting problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2014

Vehicles fuel gauge will constantly read anywhere from e to full, especially after fill up. Never know exactly what amount of fuel is in vehicle. Have to keep trip meter cleared at each fill up to make an accurate guess at how many miles I have left in the tank. Sometimes the check engine light will also come on at same time as the gauge fluctuates constantly.

2 Other Fuel System Tank Mounting problem

Failure Date: 05/05/2011

When I start my car every morning the fuel gauge starts out correctly and then when I start to travel the gauge drops to empty. After I travel approximately 15 min the gauge will start to climb to about the approx correct fuel amount then it drops down again. I can usually get a good reading after I fill the tank but when I turn the engine off it starts all over again. This has been going on for two weeks now. The consequences are that I am not sure what my fuel level is unless I completely fill the tank. I havent done any corrective measures yet.
