1 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2008 GMC Envoy

Failure Date: 07/05/2018

Have replaced right side front hub assembly twice, and have to replace it a third time, in 4 year's. Getting best part from o'reilly's auto parts. Vehicle is moving, feels like the front wheel is going to fly off, shaking, wobbly, just totally unsafe.

2 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2007 GMC Envoy

Failure Date: 08/22/2016

Replaced driver & passenger hub assembly and both tie rod ends within last 6 months. Still service tire monitor still coming on for passenger side. Bump/thump noise coming from rear suspension now and I feel it in the floor. Automatic load level control rear suspension not working now. Under 85,000 miles.

3 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2006 GMC Envoy

Failure Date: 02/25/2014

The contact owned a 2006 GMC Envoy xl 370. The contact stated that the abs warning lamp illuminated, which indicated a malfunction. The vehicle was taken to the authorized dealer, but they were unable to replicate or diagnose the failure. The contact also indicated that there was a noise emitting from the front of the vehicle associated with the wheel hubs and they were not able to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop. The mechanic indicated that the driver side wheel hub was defective and that both front wheel hubs needed to be replaced. The dealer did not remedy the failure with the wheel hubs. In addition, the low beam headlights failed to work. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 13v248000 (electrical system, visibility) and 14v755000 (exterior lighting); however, the parts needed were not available for several months. While traveling over 70 mph, the front two wheels fractured without warning and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The frontal air bags failed to deploy. The driver received medical assistance, but sustained fatal injuries. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided no remedy. The vehicle was destroyed. The approximate failure mileage was 117,000.

4 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 1999 GMC Envoy

Failure Date: 07/12/2004

Both front wheel hubs had to be replaced, the second two times .

5 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 1999 GMC Envoy

6 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2000 GMC Envoy

Failure Date: 03/28/2001

When dealership changed oil, an oil pressure hose was found to be leaking oil from engine. Problem was repaired by the dealership. Vehicle has experienced several problems with the windshield wipers, deale has replaced the multifunction switch, rear wiper motor, front wiper terminal board and wiper module. Rear speakers have humming noises, speaker was shorting out, later consumer heard whistle noises in the rear speaker. When starting, there was a rattle noise, dealer found exhaust out of alignment. Creeking noise caused by faulty door pins and bushings, passenger side kick panel loose/falling off, dealer found right side panel loose. Alternator voltage drops with load below 35 amps, dealer replaced alternator, there was a squeak in the rear suspension, dealer found the e brake cable was chaffing on bushings, dealer repositioned e brake cable. Right front wheel bearing grinding, dealer replaced right front hub. Left front hub replaced due to growling, dealer found hub was worn.
