One problem related to driveshaft has been reported for the 2000 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
This vehicle was delivered new all four wheels out of balance, out of alignment, and a severe driveline vibration. The cure for the driveline vibration was to reinstall the driveshaft because it was a 180 degrees out! I do not know how many other Jimmy's were delivered like this, but it sure was a serious problem for us. Shame on general motors!!!!! dt.
