The right head light was out and the consumer was unable to have it replaced since the head light was not a standard bulb, parts had to be ordered.

I previously reported 2 other failures refr to odi number 748064 this time my dome light stayed on and would not shut off I pushed the dome override button several times to shut the light off when I did all of my headlights and dash lights went out. I had to us the override headlight switch to turn on my lights. We took it to the dealer and they ordered a new headlight switch. As of the present time they have replaced my turn signal switch, my ignition switch, and now will be replacing the headlight switch. I feel these problems could endanger other owners. Could someone please contact me and let me know if I am the only person who is having problems so I can tell if this is just my vehicle or are others having problems. Head lights and air conditioner blower come on when motor was not running. Took vehicle to dealer twice, dealer couldn't find cause. Also, driver's, passenger's, and backseat squeaked/air conditioner had mildew in evaporator case, and warpped brake rotors. Consumer trying to return vehicle to GMC.

When driving down the road headlights and interior lights flash on and off which could cause an accident. Contacted dealer.

The daytime running lights go off whenever the turn signal is used. When the turn signal is turned off, the daytime running lights turn back on. I consider this a safety defect because to oncoming drivers and also people ahead of you it appears you are signalling them. This is especially pronounced in heavy traffic with many lane changes. Here in seattle, this may provoke an act of road rage as to the wrong person this light flashing could be interpreted as a hostile act.

Headlight appers to be bluish in color and is too blinding.

Daytime running lights go out when turn signals are activated. This goes from a safety feature to an unsafe feature. Why should these daytime running lights go out when your driving down the highway and turn your turn signal on? it seems to me, it defeats it's own purpose. It's very hard for me to accept, that this feature was approved to work in this way. . . . . . . Thank you!.
