The contact owns a 1999 GMC Sierra. While driving approximately 40 mph, the contact depressed the brake pedal but the vehicle did not slow down; therefore, he used the emergency brake to stop the vehicle. He then noticed brake fluid on the floor of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a local repair shop. The contact received minor bruises due to the sudden stop. The vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The failure and current mileages were approximately 142,000.
I am having trouble with my throttle when attempting to accelerate from idle. It feels as though something is sticking, then suddenly releasing once enough pressure is applied to the accelerator pedal. This results in the vehicle lunging forward every time.
While traveling on the highway the vehicle speed control will suddendly get stuck. The dealership is aware of the problem. Mr.
When accelerating fast, must let off of throttle so transmission will shift from 1-2, and 3-4 gears. All fluid and filter were changed, problem not fixed.
The rear rotors u-joint, carbon build up on throttle, replaced window motor uses 2 qts of oil every 400 to 500 miles , transmission uses 1 qt of oil every 20000 miles , air conditioner fan does not work on high I believe the throttle build up is a safety issue with the gas petal sticking. We have a lemon.
While driving vehicle would start to accelerate, vehicle would pull to the left or sometimes to the right. Would happen all time while driving. When the brakes were applied, they would not pull either way. Took to dealership & mechanic could not locate cause of problem. The GMC representative took vehicle for a test drive & declared it was okay to drive.
