Four problems related to fuel injection have been reported for the 2000 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle sporadically starts. Dealer advised needed a new fuel pump, filter. Independant shop stated there was a service bulletin for this problem. Independant flushed injectors and replaced hose that was melting from gas as per bulletin. Truck ran great for a week and then problem began again. Truck currently won't start again.
Truck won't start, idles rough, bucking or no power, fuel injectors gummed up, backfires sometimes won't go over 30 mph.
2000 GMC Sierra involved in accident - truck exploded and burned.
