One problem related to fuel pump has been reported for the 2000 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Dt: the consumer owns a 2000 GMC Sierra classic. He had to replace a fuel pump assembly that was housed inside the fuel tank. There was some recalls on this vehicles but not for his model. There were four wires in the fuel tank two of the four wires were melted together inside the fuel tank.
