GMC Sierra owners have reported 2 problems related to rear suspension leaf spring (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes malfuction; when applying brakes they do not stop vehicle properly, causing extended stopping distance. Also, front bearings/ universal joint, and rear leaf spring assembly had to be replaced. Dealer / manufacturer notified . Feel free to provide any further details on this matter.

Vehicle stalled while driving. Had coasted to side of road. Restarted & vehicle shut off. The differential seal was leaking oil. The vehicle was making noises in the universal joint. Taking vehicle to mechanic. Also, leaf spring on passenger's sid efailed/replaced/smelled oil due to pcv valve failure, an dtransmission would not shift into drive or reverse.
