The nuts on the hub caps became so hot, they blew the front driver and passenger side hub caps off. The calipers, rotors and hub caps have been replaced. The consumer was told that eh hub caps were being redesigned to withstand heat.

Failure Date: 06/19/2002

Nut that holds wheel and bearing onto axle became loose, resulting in loss of bearing and wheel almost fell off.

3 Wheel Bolts problem of the 1999 GMC Sierra

Failure Date: 04/01/1999

Lugs: bolts: nuts that hold the hubs on the crome wheels are too short, and cannot be tightened. The problem was reported to the dealership. The nuts have been tightened several times which does not if not solve this problem. Checked every other day the hub would just fall off.
