Power Steering Light On problems of the 2014 GMC Sierra 1500

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 GMC sierra. The contact stated that while her husband was driving on the highway,the power assist ceased to operate as the steering warning light had illuminated. The contact's husband stated that the steering wheel had tightened and became difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer to be serviced and the manufacturer was not been notified of the failure. Upon investigation, the contact discovered recall NHTSA campaign number: 14v246000 (steering) which she linked to the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown. Jo.

Tl-the contact owns a 2014 GMC sierra. The contact stated that the stability track warning light would light up. The steering system light will also come on and the locks on the doors will lock and unlock. And eventually the whole vehicle would shut off. The contact would have to stop and restart the vehicle. . The vehicle was taken in three times to the dealer supreme Chevrolet Cadillac of plaquemine 23085 la-1, plaquemine, la 70764 (225) 238-1668 for normal maintainance repairs and had to re fix the power steering from a past recall repair. The issue recurs each day but the contact has not had a chance to reset another appointment. The failure mileage was 81,445. Tf.

Slowing down to park on a street and lost steering and lights flickering, I just had recall reprogrammed &serviced 60 days ago, driver assist service lights also on and parking. I nearly crashed twice so far I need my vehicle for transportation and would like help with this immediately ,for it is a pricey luxurious vehicle.

Yesterday I was driving home on the highway driving approximately 75mph when without any warning a stability steering control light flashed on the dashboard behind my steering wheel. The car immediately jolted from driving mid 70's down to an immediate 67mph. This speed limit was the last thing that flashed before my dashboard blacked out, the steering column locked and the vehicle entirely lost power while driving. Seconds later my windshield wipers sporadically started moving (I did not engage the switch) and I watched the temperature go up from 70 to 80 without touching the gauge manually. The car jolted for almost 10 miles sporadically losing control intermittently and when I exited off the highway and made a left hand turn at a low speed (under 15mph) the steering completely locked and the car pulled off to the side of the road toward a curb. I gained control of the vehicle manually which was difficult but I did correct the drive path back onto the road. I pulled into the dealership at a low rate of speed and the car did the same thing as it did when I exited the highway. I'm in a loaner and the dealer has my vehicle. This vehicle was purchased used roughly 2 months ago from a registered GMC dealer with 40k miles on it. It now has roughly 44k on it. I have made 1 payment on this vehicle thus far.

Power steering light and stabilitrack light coming on when coming to a slow stop. Lights will not stay on long enough to throw a code to read. A/c, radio, dash all shuts down when these codes throw.
