I have a 2007 GMC sierra extended cab z71. The truck is approximately 2 years old with 20000 miles. The truck has been driven in the northeast for its entire life. The frame on the truck from the front to the rear as well as many of the components underneath the truck have become extremely rusted. I have spoken with many dealers and they say this problem is caused by the road salt and snow/ice that comes with the northeast winter. Nothing has been done to correct this problem, but I am afraid that this rust will lead to corrosion(rot) and something major could happen to the vehicle and or myself. Since this truck is only 2 years old and has this issue, it is only going to get worse with age.
