Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1996 GMC Yukon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Every time abs brakes are applied, vehicle fails to stop, resulting in extended stopping distance. Had been to dealer & was informed by mechanic cause of problem not found. Had abs brake system replaced & the rotors turned.
Front/rear brake pads overheated/cracked, causing vibration upon braking; also, front rotors and drums warped, resulting in vehicle vibration upon braking.
