Tire Bubble problems of the 1999 GMC Yukon

Two problems related to tire bubble have been reported for the 1999 GMC Yukon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tire Bubble problem

I bought a new GMC Yukon that came with bf goodrich long trail size p245/75 r16 new on the Yukon. The summer of 2000 with around 12000 miles on the tires I had a blow out going around 70 on a rear tire. About a year ago I had one of the tires go bad/ had a bubble develop on the tread. This last weekend I had another tire develop a bubble on the tread. Last year the serial number from the bad tire was ap70hk11478. The blowout I did not get the serial number and the one over the last weekend I have not got the number from that tire at this time.

2 Tire Bubble problem

Failure Date: 07/22/2001

Left rear tire had a bubble but did not separate. (dot number: ap70hl1144 tiresize: p24575r16).
