The contact owns a 1999 GMC Yukon. The vehicle has cooper discoverer h/t tires, size 275/70r/16 (na). The contact observed a slow leakage in the sidewall of the front passenger side tire. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the tire was replaced. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic on seven separate occasions for the same failure, but the failure still persists. The contact purchased a total of 11 replacement tires. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 110,000 and current mileage was 114,000.
The contact bought goodyear wrangler tires in 2003. He had to take them back because of a blister on the outside walls. He returned them in 2004 , and they gave him the same exact tires that he had to pay for. Also, they blistered on the outside walls. He noticed this on 8-28-05. The dealer wanted to prorate the tires and give him the difference. The tires were prorated in 2004. On paper work it stated there was a manufacturer's defect in the tires.
