Engine Belts And Pulleys problems of the 2001 GMC Yukon

While driving at 70 mph consumer heard a sound, and vehicle lost power and stalled. Dealer examined the vehicle, and determined that the timing belt broke.

The serpentine belt has been replaced twice and then the alternator was replaced because when the truck is started it makes a squealing noise and after all that, it still makes the noise.

While driving, their was a noise from under the hood. Consumer took vehcile to the dealership an d they indicated that the serpentine belt had came apart. Prior to this incident,at time of purchasing the vehicle the dealership noticed the serpentine belt had came apart, when inspectng the vehicle. Consumer had belt replaced 5 times, problem still accurs. Please provide more details. Mr.

Multiple failures; a/c odors, door lock, suspension alignment and brakes. There were problems with the following: weather strip was loose, the a/c blew warm, the belts squeaked, there was a mildew odors, the window regulator, the front seat belt squeaked, the door panel, the steering wheel rattled, drive shaft, accelerator pedal, the wipers were noisy, the hinge pin on the radio was loose, engine noises, a/c drain would not drain at times until the passenger door was closed/water lead and caused by the left front floorboard. Recall#01v159000, 02v253000, 03v094000.

Intermittent stalling when making a right turn. Dealer was notified, and informed consumer that they could not duplicate the problem. Consumer states dealer loaned a vehicle data recorder, however problem has not occurred since August 6th, after vehicle stalls it will start back up without a problem. Abs experienced erratic operation. Front passenger seat belt needed replaced.

Cruise control failure caused by an aberrant voltage on stop lamp circuit. Also the pcm, starter and serpentine belt was replaced.
