GMC Yukon owners have reported 2 problems related to rear suspension shock absorber (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of GMC Yukon based on all problems reported for the Yukon.
The front shock absorbers on my 2018 Yukon denali are leaking. The car is 2 years old with approximately 67k miles. GMC has the absorbers on back order as they are apparently being replaced frequently. I think the shock absorbers have design faults that assure they will need replacing well before the normal life of the product and therefore should be recalled and replaced with a better product. I contacted GMC customer care and they offered to replace them for $1,450 plus tax which is not an adequate solution - they should replace them for free.
