My 2000 Honda Accord ex v6 battery finally died on 01/30/2006. A new battery was replaced the same day and now the srs light stays on and won't go away. I contacted a local Honda dealership and they want to charge me $90 just for diagnostic and the cost of repair. I searched on the internet and realized that is a common problem with many Honda and Acura car models after any power related issue. As proclaimed reliable car company, I wanted to know why Honda won't admit they have a problem and voluntarily have dealership fix it free of charge for the customers. I will be one of the customer gives serious thought on any future Honda purchases.
