I have a 2000 Honda Accord lx v6 4door sedan. After the vehicle has been driven for about 20 minutes, the engine failed to start after it was shut off for 5-10 minutes. The first time this happened, the car was only 2 years old. Each time I try to restart the engine, the engine would turnover and run for about 2 seconds and then stalled. Each time I would have to depress the gas to get the engine going and if I release the gas, the engine would die. The engine sounds like it's running out of gas and just die. The strange part is if I can get the car in gear and drive with the gas applied for about one block, the engine would return to normal. This can be dangerous since I have to depress the gas and brake at the same time so the vehicle would stay in control. I went to the dealer and they hooked up some kind of computer to the car and they said they were unable to find any problem. The Accord is a nice car but this constant engine-starting problem needs to be addressed.
