My 2003 Honda Accord coupe was struck by an SUV/crossover, after the other driver ran a red light, and I tried, but was unable to avoid the accident. My car was stuck at or in front of my driver's side front wheel. My car was totaled by my insurance company, and "no fault" was decided by both insurance companies because they and the police were unable determine who was at fault. My driver's seat and side curtain airbags deployed, and the front passenger airbag deployed. Although, I did not have a passenger. The driver's side curtain airbag did not come down far enough (only about 12-18 inches) to protect my head, and I hit my head on the glass of my driver's side window. I had a bump on and pain on the side of my head, along with headaches. I'm fine now. I believe my injuries could have been far worse had I been driving at a higher speed, on a highway or interstate. Given the faulty airbag deployment, I believe the 2003 Honda Accord coupe should be added to the airbag recall list in place for other vehicles. As I recall, the airbag recall includes other Honda vehicles and other companies' vehicles.

The airbag light is on and has been over on since last year. The electrical system has issues and if the vehicle is left sitting for 2 days without any movement the car will die and you will be forced to jump the vehicle the battery has been replaced and so has the alternator. When in motion the vehicle will stall and the gears won’t switch, the car is an automatic.

Was driving with my son hit a pothole and driver seat pothole blew.
Side passenger airbag deployed without being in a car accident.
Airbags were replaced per recall. But there is a warranty extension on the replacements. Honda won't explain why. Internet says they were packed wrong but again I can't get answers from Honda unless I pay them $125. I'm worried that I'm driving with unsafe airbags.
Error code identified 54-5x from defective seat belts or air bags, internal failure of srs unit. Lifetime warranty for seat belts is being denied as applicable by Honda filed manager and Honda dealer. Subsequent to such confirmed dx, right signal marks began to fail.
Takata recall my 2003 Honda Accord sedan is on the list of cars with takata airbags to be recalled but Honda is not recalling my car. I feel that it should be recalled but Honda is refusing to replace my airbags. How can Honda refuse to replace my airbags if it is on the list of cars being recalled for airbags. When they ask for my VIN they claim that my car is not being recalled. I believe that Honda is unlawfully shorting the recall list. Please look into this matter. Sincerely, richard pyle.

Takata recall----I can't find out when my '03 Accord will be recalled or whether it's considered among the most at risk. Have heard nothing and NHTSA VIN search indicates no recall so far. This is very worrisome as I have only one eye and a crash with this defective air bag could lead to total blindness or worse.
Was driving about 2 minutes on city street. Airbags exploded first on passenger side and then on driver's side.
Takata recall. I have contacted Honda multiple times, my passenger airbag is not a takata airbag, it was replaced with another airbag years ago, does not need recalled. I have asked for them to stop sending me notices, worked directly with my local dealership, who faxed the required paperwork and the issue is not resolved.

Takatarecall.
Takata recall my car won't accelerate when I hit the gas pedal.
I would have thought that my 03 Honda Accord was affected by the recall, but the searches say there is no outstanding recall. They kept changing the years, states w vs wo humidity, etc, but all Accord before and after my year were affected, and I am certain the airbag fix was never done by my Honda dealership. I can't get to the bottom of this. Is there not a danger with these original takata airbags? VIN 1hgcm826x3a033766.

My car has an open recall for airbags. I went to local Honda dealer and they refused to fix because my passenger airbag has deployed. I'm not sure whether that's reason that they will not fix this airbag for the recall? thanks.
takata recall the airbag is not working which make it always display on my dashboard when am driving.
Driving to work on 8/5/17 at around 4 am and the passenger side roof and seat air bags went off for no reason. Turned the car around and took it home to where it has set every since. The road was smooth and I was approaching a set of railroad tracks on route 3.
Takata recall while I was driving home (vehicle in motion) on paseo padre boulevard in fremont California, my airbags on the right side of the vehicle deployed unexpectedly and for no apparent reason. I was not involved in any accident that would trigger airbags to deploy. I believe the airbags deployed because they have some defective parts. I continue trying to resolve the issue with Honda and they ignore me.

I was going back home from work at 5. 50 am in the morning in my Honda Accord. I lost control over my car and hit side walk and a mail box on the right side of the road my car toppled on the left side. The driver side window was under my feet as the car toppled and the passenger side door window was on the top of my head as I was standing in the a toppled car. To come out of the car I removed the head rest from the drivers seat and started hitting the window glass to break it with metal part of the head rest. I hit it as hard possible, I brought the head rest down to my knees to gather force, distance and speed so that the window glass can be broken and I can come out. I tried for few minutes but the window glass did not break. I want bring it to the attention of you all that if a window glass cannot be broken with metal in case of emergency in the car. Takata recall airbags dysfunctional but not replaced by Honda, front and rear brake calipers seized up resulting in excessive brake pad wear and damage to rotors. ~$3000 brake job quoted for a Honda with only ~150k miles.
