I was driving and stopped at a stop sign, I started to go and my passenger side airbag on the door exploded. There was no impact, out of nowhere this happened.
Was in a vehicle collision to which no air bags deployed.
The airbag light is on and off randomly. The vehicle was taken into Honda where they set up a procedure that they have specifically for airbag issues due to so many recalls. They told us the passenger side airbag qualifies for replacement under a Honda extended warranty and service bulletin. When it comes to the drivers side airbag, Honda refuses to fix it under the warranty. The specific issue as stated by a Honda tech is "a short to the airbag inflator causing the airbag to be deemed useless". This is clearly a manufacturers defect, seeing how the exact same issue was the reason that the passenger side airbag was recalled. So with this information I don't understand how the consumer is being expected to pay for the replacement and the remedy. It should fall on Honda to resolve this issue and make right by every owner of a vehicle with a defective airbag inflator.
Traffic bumper to bumper as 5 pm, stop and go near traffic lights. Tapped SUV ahead and despite very very slow speed and not even scratch on my 2009 Honda Accord coupe - the drivers air bag deployed & seatbelt locked up. Contacted Honda corporate where they opened case and promised “taking care of, shouldn’t have happened, and not to worry”. 2 weeks later Honda changed response when I called for update and told me to deal with my insurance company. Very unpleasant & unprofessional. Car evaluated and needed seatbelt & air bag replacement. They too confirmed not even scratch front of car, only has 83k miles! now everyone claiming no seatbelts available.
Airbag light always on in my dashboard.
My daughter was in an accident on 9/28/2021 and the air bag exploded and she said it burned her but it was actually some type of metal. The vehicle was inspected by the insurance company. I ended up buying the vehicle back and when the car was delivered to the repairman, it was note that is was a faulty air bag. I am not sure about the other questions as it relates to warning lamps, ect. . It has been inspected by state farm, the car is still in my possession. I was advised to report the airbag blowout. It was stated on my market valuation report under supplemental information that Honda is recalling certain 2003-2012 Honda Accord for incorrectly installed air bag may deploy improperly in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Nhtsa campaign id 18v268000, 19v182000, 19v378000 & 19v502000.

Airbag warning light: - srs waring light on.
There was a recall on the airbags in August and I was not notified. Just wanted to an updated to see when my vehicle would be serviced.
Air bag was replaced.
Couldn't get traction on light snow-covered road. Vsa light was flashing and my car wasn't responding to brake to vsa. I applied my brakes to slow down (to no avail). Now my car is out of control and proceeding down a slight incline to a stop sign. . . Picking up speed along the way. My brakes are "to the floor" the whole time as I slide through intersection I have my steering wheel turned right. The front passenger side ended up crashing into a street sign & telephone pole. I was told by police that a car that swerved to avoid me made contact with my rear fender and my car then spun right into the poles. Also, neither front air bags deployed upon impact.

Gerald jones Honda on 12/23/17 inspected "srs lt on" and tech clifford warner wrote in invoice "no codes need srs unit" and charged $120. The srs light always comes on when car is turned on. I do not think it is safe air bag system. Honda motors refuge to even talk further and it wants me get respected again and again. I had four total inspection and test results does not give any error codes. What should I do?.
Airbag red light stays on. Showed dealer for recall. Dealer got no code. Charged $120. Red light is still on! did not fix it because no code was found and cannot repair. Recall was denied and I had to pay $120 for diagnosis. Lights are all the time when running.
Airbag settlement recall.
"takata recall" while driving, the light indicating passenger airbag off light comes on then turns off, after several minutes it comes back on. That worries me.
Takata recall, I just don't want it to automatically go off, that's scary, and it should be replaced by takata at no cost to myself. Unethical, unsafe, and a danger to other drivers as well!.
Takata recall: I saw the news about recalling the vehicle for air bag safety. I am not sure why nobody contact me since my car's model is in the recalling list. Honda Accord 2009.
Was in an accident and air bags didn't deploy and they should have its front end damage.
We've been calling gunn Honda in san antonio TX since August of 2016. Since then, at each call we've heard "the parts won't be in for two weeks, and we'll call you". We received a letter from Honda today to ask if the car had been sold or demolished, so we called gunn Honda. They said they hadn't ever heard of us, but they'll take the car Monday. They won't say how long repairs will take. I fear as this is a recall instead of a "paying" job, they'll keep the car for another six months with an estimate of "two weeks".
Takata recall. Notified dealer 65 days ago, but no correction taken.
2009 Honda Accord. Consumer writes in regards to takata air bag recall. The consumer stated the NHTSA website was not up-to-date concerning recalls on the takata airbags. Updated 03/23/2017.
Scheduled appointment with Honda dealer two weeks in advance. Showed up for appointment and dealer stated that part has not arrived. No parts for the recall! my understanding is that supposedly the part should be ordered by the dealer using the vehicle VIN number. Part should be reserved for that specific vehicle. Wasted my time taking vehicle to Honda dealer. Still they haven't call me to speak with service manager and re-schedule at Honda dealer.

Takata recall issue not resolved in timely manner. Advised in early summer of dangers associated with front passenger airbag and to not allow passengers in front seat. Also advised replacement parts would be available by late August. Since then have not received any further communication. On this website, I learn replacement parts to be avail by late fall. It is November 28 and less than a month before official start of winter.
Takata recall. Received notice in July 20016 recall. States that no one should sit in the passenger seat. I have a wife and 2 children--what am I supposed to do? I've called Honda every week for the past month. They say sorry, but are of no help. The part has not even been manufactured yet. They are very bad at communicating and customer service. I need reliable transportation for my family.

I received a recall on air bags 07/23/2016 . Got another letter from Honda that they would replace the bags in September 2016. Thats the last I have heard from Honda. Air bags still not replaced.
Takata recall: I received a letter from Honda on 07/18/2016 informing me of the issue. I brought the car to the local dealer the next day and they told me to call Honda to arrange alternate transportation. I called on 07/19/16 and they told me that my report was received and they would provide alternate transport as soon as possible. I called again on 07/21/2016 and found out that a case was never opened for me and there is no record of my contact on 07/19. Another case was supposedly opened, and I followed up again on 07/22/16, only to find out that again, my case was never created. I am driving a hazardous vehicle and Honda is refusing to provide alternative transport. Only on my third attempt was a case opened, and I have not heard a response since. Honda is not allocating appropriate resources to the recall to provide alternate transport to consumers at risk.
