Software problems of the 2013 Honda Accord

My car is facing no starting issues several times a year even though I have done every single maintainance on time at the dealership. This time the dealer told me it is a bulletin 19-034 and need a software update. This could be very dangerous if it happened on the highway. Fortunately, it happened in a small park and I was driving very slow. There is always some starting issues of my Honda Accord since I bought it. I went to the dealership several times every year. Sometimes the dealer ask me to change battery and sometimes the dealer aksed me to change all kinds of fluids. I have changed every single fluids, pcv valve, brake pads and rollters in the car almost yearly and the no start issue is still happening. I feel it takes me too much time and cost me several thousand of dollars every year is too much. Also, if the turnoff happend on the highway it is very dangerous. I am hesitate to take my kids in the car since the problem. Very annoying. Also, the software problem should be solved by the manufacturer free but they are charging me every single time.

While driving 7/15/16 the electric steering warning indicator light went on, and the steering wheel became impossible to turn or steer until it finally ceased to turn (total time for complete loss of steering capability was less than 1 min. ). I was driving on a 4-lane city street traveling at about 45mph. I turned the vehicle off for about 3 mins. And then restarted it. The indicator light was off and the steering worked fine. I immediately drove to a Honda dealership who told me the car is probably fine as it had a software update installed 9 mos. Ago and if it happens again I should bring the car in for replacing the steering box. I requested a note be made in my car repair history. They did not provide me with any paperwork.

The contact owns a 2013 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the bluetooth function would not disconnect properly. As a result, the contact would have to remove his eyes from the roadway, reach down and attempt to reconnect the bluetooth. The contact would also have to shut off and restart the engine in order to establish a connection. The manufacturer performed a software update during production, but that update failed to remedy the failure. The failure mileage was 25 and the current mileage was 500.

Since I bought my 2013 Honda Accord ex-l in January 2013, I have had issues with stereo system. At times, the stereo will not turn on or it will turn on but the display screen is blank. Other times, "no disc" appears on the display when I turn the car on. I don't listen to cds, therefore, I never changed the source to play a cd. I only listen to xm. The dealer stated they cannot do anything to fix unless I bring the car in while the issue is happening. The issue is intermittent and never happens while near a dealer. I did receive a recall in April 2013 and took my car in for the stereo software update. Did not solve my issues.

2013 Honda Accord. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle software issues and seeks a new vehicle at no cost to them. Consumer states vehicle is a lemon law issue. The consumer stated the dealer was unable to repair or correct any of the non-conformities after a reasonable number of repairs over a ten month period. The problem with the tpms persisted from the second week ownership. The pressure light problem would come on at random times on a monthly basis. After ten months, Honda stated it was a software problem, and they did not know when the software update would be available.
