My car was purchased new in December 2018. It now has 119,231 miles on it. My problem is that my headlight warning lamps go on the minute I start my car, because moisture has somehow gotten into both headlight assemblies, which causes my headlights to stop working intermittently. I took my car to keeler Honda in latham new york to get it fixed, and they gave me a quote to replace two headlights in the amount of $3174. 23. My car has never been hit nor has it ever been in an accident. And now I need to replace two headlights and I can’t believe how much money it’s going to cost me. I believe I have defective headlights, and although my car may be out of warranty, I think this is a design issue, and the cost to replace two headlights is unreasonable. I have attached pictures of the right and left front headlights, a picture of my dashboard warning light that comes on when I start my car, and a copy of the estimate I received from keeler Honda in latham new york for $3174. 23. Just for the headlights alone, the cost is 2624. 04. Who has that kind of money to replace 2 headlights? I wonder if I’m the only one with this issue. Brakes- rear calipers wear uneven on the inside pad 5mm outer and 1mm on inner. This is a safety hazard because seeing the outer pad still was in specifications that I did not need to replace them just yet. Got my car completely inspected due to grinding noise and found that the inner pad was metal to metal ruined my rotor costing me more money as well as if I hadn’t gotten it inspected could have caused an accident. Headlights- new battery installed and headlights still flicker sometimes even completely turn off, I have to pull over and bang on the housing to get them to power back on. That is also a risk to my safety and others if they are to completely turn off again in the night time others won’t see me. Not the only time it has happened. I’ve ran recalls on my VIN but dealer said there was no open recalls.

Driver's side front led lights went out. I do not see any reason for this, it just stopped working. I am worried this may be a safety issue as these led lights are now permanently off.

While exiting a grocery store parking lot the Honda Accord 2006 air bags malfunctioned and deployed. The Honda Accord 2006 'did not' strike a vehicle, a vehicle 'did not' strike the Honda Accord 2006, the Honda Accord 2006 'did not' strike any object in the parking lot, no object in the parking lot caused any friction with the Honda Accord 2006 to make the air bags deploy. After reviewing the damages which occurred from the deployment of the air bags; the driver's air bag is hanging out, the passenger's air bag is hanging out, the dome lights have been knocked down from the ceiling, the wind shield has 4 cracks in it. At this time myself and the passenger are noticing a ringing in our ears. I myself have a tiny split in my lower lip. When the incident took place an individual came to the Honda Accord 2006 to ask if things were ok. The individual states, "I heard a pop!! so I came to check things out. " today is 4/3/2022, the incident took place around 3pm. With today being Sunday Honda is closed. No call was able to be made to ask questions or file a report.

The adas lights indacstor turn on the freeway while driving, the brake system ligth came on and the car start braking while driving several times the problem happend 5 times on 4 weeks, I took the car to the dealer they replace the brake switch but the problem still coming up days after, now the brake ligths are always on even when nobody is pressing the brake pedal.

34,000 miles led daytime running lights went out, stopped working.

Supplemental restraint system failure will pop up at random times maybe every other drive, then that code goes away. Just recently the acc and brake system flashes "problem see dealer" as well as the head unit/display turning off and then back on intermittently. Front interior lights will turn on then turn off, sometimes immediately, and this has all been in the last year they've compiled. Closer to when I got my car a couple of years ago, the cruise control would just turn off and the automatic braking would start to slow the vehicle down. I attribute this to the "emergency braking" feature that would stop me with nothing in front of me, so it has been disabled ever since. Unfortunately my car doesn't fall under the VIN registry for the software recall, and from the looks of the other complaints this seems to be common problem with this car. If these issues are present I'm not sure why Honda would be so reluctant to accept that the recall affected a larger number of vehicles than they had initially thought. May have to get in contact with Honda corporate.

Engine stall in the middle of the road making me hit an object and it lock up the steering wheel for I couldn't are nun causing the car to being in an accident this cost my insurance $4. 5k to fix in damages and the car was under Honda care and Honda care basic warranty because they have on the carfax that it was minor because the amount of damage that cause Honda should be reliable for this accident bc this was a new car the steering wheel was not supposed to lock up while driving are just stall in the highway for I can’t steer.

Daytime running lights (drl) are no longer operating as designed. Lf drivers is partially lighting, and rf passengers has completely failed and no longer lighting.

There is currently a recall for 2016 to 2017 Honda led lights going out. My led light has gone out and I am being told my VIN is not on the list. How is it determined which cars fall under the recall if my car is having the same issue. My car was manufactured with 2016 parts or what ever parts that affect the recall. I was told by Honda corp to pay for diagnostic which I don't think is fair.

If the car sits idle for more than 4 days, the battery dies. The car has 60,000 miles and we are replaced the battery once and it continues to die if it sits for more than 4 days. The car pulls to the right side regardless of how many times I have it balanced. The led day running light on the driver side front died when the car only had 50,000 miles on it.

The passenger side headlight has stopped working - the electronic display shows headlight issue, show dealer. This is a 2 year old car with around 60,000 miles on it ( relatively new) - but the led going out so fast is a concern especially when led lights lasts for years. My Honda dealer has asked me to replace the entire units as the power to the unit is on but the headlight itself is not working.

Driver side day running light doesn’t work. A lot of owners have this problem. Not safe at all. Honda should recall that to fix that problem.

Driving on a country road, lights came on regarding steering and braking I drove for another 1/2-1 mile. Snowing conditions - lost steering and brakes and the car went off the road, hitting a sign for an upcoming curve.

There is currently a recall (TSB 19-042) for 2016 to 2017 Honda Accord drl led's malfunctioning due to high voltage on the lower led strip. Both headlights have experienced this failure. I took the vehicle in for a 100,000 (end of certified warranty safety inspection) and when I picked up the vehicle, I was informed all the recalls that applied to my vehicle had been completed. When noted that this repair had not been done, I was told my vehicle VIN must not be "in range. " my understanding is that all 2017 Accord hybrid touring models were affected, so I'm not understanding that response. I'd like the units repaired as per the TSB.

My husband and I were on a trip and I didn't realize it, but people kept flashing us and I did not have my lights on. When we pulled over, my husband could not get out of his side of the door. It would not open. We were on the freeway, on a cold rainy day and visibility was bad, and not being able to have lights, or defroster work properly put us in a hazardous position. Later I found out as I took it to a mechanic was that our fuse box was not working correctly, and the lights on the right side only and the door and the defroster were not working. It cost me $951. 09 to get this repaired on my 2008 Honda Accord. I think when people get in a car, and drive it especially in hazardous conditions, everything should work properly. I did see on several sites there was a recall on this, but I never received a recall letter, or was contacted by my dealer. I would like to be reimbursed for the $951. 09 OH, and I also would like other Honda owners to be aware of this problem. It could possibly prevent an accident, someone in dire situation that affects their safety. The car was being driven on a rainy day, and the defroster could not clear the windows, we could not put the heater on, could not roll the window down, could not get out of the car because the lock would not come up. Left side daytime running light burned out have way.

Daytime running lights led both partially burnt and only half of the led light come on. This happen this weekend 7/24/2020 and 7/25/2020. Per service bulletin 19-042 dated 4/16/2019 from Honda on NHTSA website, this is a common problem with 2016 Honda Accords. However the recall does not apply my 2016 model per VIN. I need help as dealer cannot assist. There's lots of information online about this recall. Totally reflects the situation we are having and again even the same year and model as my vehicle but why are some cars excluded? it just does not seem right. This is an expensive repair. Any help is appreciated.

Most recently,I was dropping off a friend. With my car running and in park. The dash board lit up with many warnings lka,mitigation, the brake defective. (see dealer immediately) I could not drive the car. The next morning (Sunday) back to normal. L Monday morning I'm at the Honda dealer, counting two other electrical problemsthis makes the third time they have told me they can not find codes or replicate the problem come get it. I have had the airbags checked and replaced at brandon Honda and I got an airbag light that won't go off and am worried about maybe side airbag problems and won't get a call back from brandon Honda in birmingham alabama to get it checked out or repaired the vehicle has been in operation.

Something wrong with the light even the tps light it's out of control. The steering gets rougher when slowing down or accelerating.

The srs light of my car come on and goes off all the time. Sometimes when I am driving, suddenly will turn on for a while. I usually pull over and turn off the engineer and turn it on back and wait a few. This happens constantly, and I have read the manual, this has to do with the front air bags, and According to the manual book can be �an alert to a potential airbags, side curtain airbags, front seat belt tensioners or the driver's seat position sensor and the front passenger's weight sensors� we have check it all the time and it just goes on all the time as it comes off all the time. I have gotten to a point that concerns me a lot.

Front driver and passenger seats squeaks since day 1, and I bought it brand new. Secondly the driver door won't unlock from the outside so I would have to go through the passenger door to open driver door lock . It feels like the door lock on driver door is stuck and the dealership won't fix it and I'm well under warranty. When I'm driving at night there's a light that flickers underneath the steering wheel it blinks the whole time and I've looked it up and haven't found a reason why it should or should not be blinking.

I have been noticing some kind of noise coming from the brakes,lights and sudden vehicle turning in the middle of the road. Creating traumatic effects on me. I have not received a call from Honda to get this situation fixed.

I was leaving a friends house at night on December 28 and when I turn the car on none of the lights in the center consul lit up. I couldn't see the radio to operate it nor the time. It was difficult to operate in trying to select climate control. I was unable to see any of the selections for a hot cold, the ability to increase or decrease the flow of the heat, selecting which item to use such as the defrost button. Luckily this happened from a stationary position. However, since this was a new vehicle to myself it made it extremely difficult to figure out after I left his friends house. In particularly because I need it to change the defrost as I was driving, and I couldn't see what I was trying to select. Additionally, since I cannot see the time, I have to use other means such as a phone or watch which I'm sure causes distracted driving.

The daytime running lights in touring models which are sealed headlamp assemblies, partially fail prematurely. Not having proper drl or having units that fail with only 45,000 miles on the vehicle are a safety hazard.
