Honda Accord owners have reported 126 problems related to warning (under the lane departure category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Honda Accord based on all problems reported for the Accord.
Have taken my car to dealership 3 separate times for all warning lights illuminated. Last time they replaced the transmission for a cvt belt prematurely breaking and all codes went away for one day. Now all are present again. Emmisions system warning, lane departure warning, cruise control warning, exc. Every single light never goes out. Just spent 6k on a car that had under 100,000 miles because I was told it was the transmission belt only to come home and have the exact issues happen. The day it was taken to the shop, it stalled in the road and almost caused an accident on a major highway. At this point, I'm afraid to drive it.

Every week the following warning lights keep coming on, brake system problem, vehicle stability assist, electric power steering system, hill start assist, acc, collision mitigation. And engine light. Has happened 6 times since purchase. Been to dealer 2 times and problem has not been addressed. They only fixed recall on fuel pump. Took it to dealer we purchased it from and they didn't do anything to fix problem.

Component vsa anti lock abs pump modulator 57110-t2f-a1 malfunction. Circuit board wiring inside of modulator has loose/dismantled wires causing complete failure of abs system for vehicle. This is a widely know problem amongst 9th generation Honda Accords and Honda has yet to issue a recall here in the united states.
All the warning lights on the dashboard are on except for emission lights namely, low tire pressure, brake lights, abs, forward collision warning, airbag. I’m afraid during bad weather abs system will not work properly. Car has 135k mileage. No safety recall checked by our mechanic. The lights never turned off when you drive.

Purchased new in Feb 2024. On June 26, 2024, at 1,207 miles all safety features became inoperable while driving and all failure lights on dash ignited. I took the car to the dealer, and they said the ecm controlling the adas systems failed and needed to be replaced, this required replacement of the rack and pinion because they are integrated. I got the car back and immediately noted a difference in handling from the new car I purchased in February, particularly with the lane departure and lane keeping option; the car consistently drifts over the lane lines when the lkas system is engaged, and sometimes realizes the car is leaving the lane and will automatically self-correct by a hard right or left into the adjacent lanes. I took it back to the dealer and the tech took it for a ride and came back saying the car was trying to kill him. He test drove five other Accords and had the same issue. The tech then said he has a new Honda crx and his does not have this issue but all Accords he drove did. The car now has 1,500 miles on it and I refuse to drive it because I can't trust the safety features since the rack and pinion was replaced. The dealership submitted an incident report to Honda and we have not heard back from them yet. I have 4 other cars ranging from 1971-2013; I feel safe in them and will drive them until Honda can provide me the safe and reliable car I thought I purchased in February.

My 2018 Honda According touring 1. 5 liter turbo has an intermittent problem with the vehicle’s warning alerts. The vehicle systems affected include adaptive cruise control, vehicle emission system, tire pressure monitoring system, vehicle stability assistance, hill start assist, braking system, road departure mitigation, blind spot info system, and collision mitigation system. When I checked online for other 2018 Accords with a similar problem and found numerous cases. The most commonly recommended corrective action was to replace the battery. I tried that. It corrected the problem for two months, but the same multiple systems failure displays have occurred again. Interestingly, none of the systems that could be independently checked (e. G. , brakes and tpms) showed any indication of actually malfunctioning. There are multiple cases online, reported by 2018 Accord owners, of receiving different explanations from Honda dealers as to the cause of the malfunction from rodent damage to problems with the turbocharger. Several people reported paying for repairs that did not correct the problem or did so only temporarily.

On several occasions and almost never under similar circumstances, my entire brake system suddenly shows there is a problem and flashes warnings on my dashboard - parking brake, power steering, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation, road departure systems - each systems shows there is a problem and says “see your dealer”. The first time it happened, I was driving on the interstate, and my only way of getting to safety was pulling off the road and trying to override the brakes manually to get my car to eventually stop. I had my car towed to the nearest Honda dealership the first and second times this happened. They assured me everything was fine or they would “restart my system”. The problem still exists, and it often leaves me stranded on the side of the road, in random parking lots, or just stuck at home unable to get to work.
All of the lights on my dashboard come on every few hours and go off. Vehicle is losing power as I drive. Multiple people with this make and model have expressed their concerns of the same issue.
Vehicle sometimes picks up blacked out or repaved cracks in road as departing the lane. The vehicles steering wheels shakes and vibrates then steers back into what it thinks is the center of the lane. Mind you as I’m already centered. It begins pushing car into on coming traffic and lane. Also the bottom aluminum transmission cover has come loose causing the skid plate or cover to come down on one side. This particular piece has fallen off and was dragging causing sparks. Sometimes the speed limit on the dash reads 65mph as 85mph.

Lights came on stating failed fcw system, ldw system showing tire pressure light, vehicle stability light, fcw, ldw lights on. Abs system has failed.
Over the past two weeks, I have encountered problems with my car's many lights. These issues have been related to issues with the braking system, collisions, road departure, emission system, acc system, vehicle stability, and electric power system. By disconnecting the battery, the lights have been switched off. My car can only be operated in this manner. ) the automobile would not go faster, and I was stuck in traffic, endangering my safety. There might have been an accident if someone had been speeding. This had happened before, and when I called the Honda store in milledgeville, georgia, to report the problem, they said they were unable to locate a problem because the lights had vanished. Yes, butler Honda in milledgeville reported that they were unable to locate a problem. The mechanic informed me that it was ok to drive even if the car had lights on because they couldn't use the car today. However, a few days later, the lights had vanished once more. It occurred approximately once in July 2023, twice in December 2023, once in March 2024, and once in April 2024. Before the several lights, there was no warning light.
This 2024 Honda Accord touring hybrid has had 7 instances of power system error messages, leading to returns to the dealer for multiple repairs or exchanges of the air conditioning compressor, battery sensor, 12 v battery, and rack-and-pinion steering gear. These issues have severely disrupted travel plans and caused inconvenience. Since purchase, 19 months ago, the car has been unavailable to us for 41 days, 35 of which have been in the last 7 months.
Abs control module with well known defects. Needs to be recalled. Https://youtu. Be/ojkowyleami?si=2tdi-8ozmtxvw7yb. Many, many customers are having this issue, including me. I was told that the part is not available after market and the Honda genuine part was quoted to me at $3,000 with low labor cost to the repair.

Copy from another complaint, as I am having the same issue. Issue where multiple dashboard indicator lights coming on. Tire pressure, abs, power steering, and traction control lights specifically all on at the same time. Car typically drives fine but will intermittently not want to accelerate.

On 1/24/24, we were driving at about 65 mph. With no warning, fcw, ldw, abs, tire pressure and check engine lights as well as fcw system failure reported on dash. The car slowed to about 20-25mph and sounded rough. Cars behind were going with speed of traffic (about 65) and had to break behind us and were honking their horns at us despite emergency flashers on. We pulled over and turned off engine for a few minutes. We turn engine back on and warning lights were off and we could drive normally again. We thought it was a glitch. About three weeks later on 2/21/24, we were on a highway pass over mountain traveling about 65mph. The lights came on again and car slowed again to about 25mph. This was very dangerous on a pass with many cars accelerating around us on the uphill part of the pass. We had to pull over again. We turned engine back on but fcw and ldw lights remained on. We were able to drive normally again. When we got home, I took the car to a mechanic who did a diagnostic test and replaced the high pressure fuel pump. The fcw and ldw lights remained on as well as notification of fcw system failure. The mechanic said he did not have recalibration equipment and I would have to go to Honda dealer for recalibration. I have an appointment on 3/6/24 with Honda for recalibration. I have since gone online and see many Honda owners are having this occur with various fixes but the problem has recurred for many owners. This is very dangerous and needs to be addressed ASAP before a collision occurs and possible death of those involved as a result.
The problem began a month or so ago. I had my car diagnosed at the Honda dealership and it has a fuel injector fuel pump issue. All of the vehicle lights are on tpms engine light brake system light steering light collision mitigation emmission electrical steering hill start assistive cruise control lkas and brake hold light. My car stalls while driving. It sputters when I start it. When I attempt to excelerate the car is not getting gas and the car wont go. I fear for my safety and the safety of others while driving because the car stalls. Can someone please contact me.
My car will be driving down the road and all my lights will come on and go to fix the problem and they all come back on . I’ve had the car for two years and been in the shop majority of the time . First the front senor was bumped out so none of my safety equipment on the car did not work , all my lights where lit up and check engine was blinking and went to take to Honda dealership and they said they tightened the bolts and car is running good and I picked it up and 15 miles later all my lights came on blinking , this has been ongoing and I know online the years 2018-2021 have has similar problems. I have a warranty but I want to get this checked out for others as well.
On multiple occasion my vehicle will brake unexpectedly with no object in the road or surrounding my car. It has done it at freeway speeds as well as driving through parking lots. It often will sense construction repairs on the road and think I am departing the lane again slamming on the brakes (on the freeway) I have luckily avoided accidents but have had numerous close calls.
My fcw sysytem has failed. My ldw , power steering , fcw , tire pressure are on the dash. Honda keeps saying it needs a new vsa module which is expensive . Multiple complaints have been filed for 2013-2017 Honda Accord models with this same issue. It is a safety issue and needs to be replaced by Honda ASAP. This is a hige safety risk.
1. Vsa modulator: vsa abs brake control module and is still in my car 2. Flashing lights distracting when driving and no replacements available per dealer (see below). Concern if problem causes break system degradation or failure. 3. I have the service record from performance kings Honda, cincinnati, OH 513-774-6013 with detailed notes below inv # 1146638 4. No, part is still installed in my vehicle so I can drive it 5. Ldw, fdw, abs, tps (tire), power steering, etc. Appeared without symptoms/warning in summer 2023. All of a sudden, many of the lights on the dashboard lit up. Ldw, fdw, abs, tps (tire), power steering, and maybe another one or two. Mechanic recommended changing the battery. After the battery was replaced, the lights should have reset automatically. When they didn't reset as expected, the mechanic tried to diagnose the issue and found no mechanical issues and didn't get a code from the scanner he had. After 6 months, I took the car to the Honda dealer who diagnosed the issue:"diag-electrical - found dtc-66-113 pressure sensor malfunction recommend replace vsa modulator. Dealer says the part is not available and there is no expectation of the part being restocked in the future "galactic back-order". Cost of $168 to diagnose the problem. This part is not available for sale any where on the internet, but could be remanufactured by vendors on ebay and amazon ( safety problem #1). Reviewed many postings across the internet from owners of Honda Accord 2014 and many other models and years. The warning lights being on and flashing constantly is very distracting and the error messages replace 2 of the functions on my odometer display. I am concerned about the safety of the vehicle should the problem deteriorate further and various systems fail. The part is still in my car at this point and is available for inspection. This issue should be reported to Honda and covered by a recall.
Fcw-forward collision warning, ldw-lane departure warning, abs, traction control, power steering, low tire pressure lights on. Attributed to common vsa/abs module malfunction. Driving with these electrical malfunctions dangerous. Honda not willing to replace. My car has only 45,000 miles with no collision history.
My 2014 Honda Accord 3. 5-v6, 9 years old, it has almost 40,000 miles on it. Recently all warning lights show up on the dashboard (abs, fcw, traction control, ldw. . . . . ) Honda dealers said it take $3000 to fix it, they mentioned the Honda Accord 2014 is bad designed from Honda company. I wish NHTSA look into this matter, investigate the quality of Honda Accord 2014. Honda must recall to fix the problems. Please. Help us to recall Honda Accord 2014-v6. As a retiree, I don't have much money $3000 to fix the abs system. Thank you very much.
The major part of the car that needs to be replaced is the abs modulator and its entire system. The vehicle has the emergency brake light on even when not used. Also, the ldw, tire pressure, abs, traction control, and power steering light appeared to be on. The vehicle was taken to Honda for repair, and the labor and parts cost over $2000.

Hello I am proudly owner of Honda since 2003 I only buy Honda cars and recently on my 2017 Honda we have issues with sensing system this error codes come and goes and I went to dealer and they told me to replace sensing camara in front but I think it is just manufacturing defects because error code come and goes while you drive car. I cannot use any feature such as cruise control, forwarding collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance and all features including in sensing system. I was on long distance trip and when I was coming back all those errors started coming.

An incident has not occurred, however, if I keep driving there may be one with the brake controls. The vsa modular unit has gone haywired and now my brakes are getting stuck and not sure if when I stop they may not work due to the system lights appearing. Honda dealer says it's faulty and when looking the problem up, seems like most Hondas get this problem. This should be safety recall, especially if your warranty has run out. Costly and aggravating.
My acc went out along with my collision mitigation system and no accident just for no reason.
The vsa module all lights are on the dash . This is a common issue in all 2010-2019 Honda Accords.
Car is available for inspection. Lane departure warning failed front collision warning failed brake light on abs light on power steering light on traction control light on passenger airbag light on safety put at risk due to no traction control, no abs, and power steering system failure system was confirmed by independent service center failure was confirmed by service center 8/18/2023 no symptoms prior.
Abs modular failed causing abs brakes fcw and ldw and traction control to stop working.
