On February 15 Sunday night my 2024 Accord was broken in by thieves. Honda’s door lock system was so easy that robbers were able to hack it and open the driver door easily. After which steering wheel airbag was stolen. There was another Honda Accord 2025 model also parked which belong to my family member, was also hit by same thieves and was a victim of door brake in and steering wheel airbag stolen. I would like to file complaint against Honda’s week security system which allowed the thieves to easily brake into our vehicles. Upon checking the internet I came across videos of how easy it is to steel the airbags since it only requires 2 small flathead screw drivers to unlatch the steering wheel air bag. During my conversation with police who files my report mentioned that “ Honda is being hit with these cases a-lot and Honda vehicles can easily be started with wifi system”. I spoke to the service advisor at Honda who is fixing my car about this issue, he responded saying “ there is nothing we can do. The best thing you can do is put steering wheel lock bar on it”. At this point I don’t feel safe having Honda vehicle at all. What can prevent them from not breaking to my car again after being fixed? at this point it is a high risk for me for constantly paying insurance deductibles and chances of insurance premiums increments and worst of all a constant stress every night of being hit again.

I have bought three Hondas and leased one, I still have a 2012 sedan and 18 months ago the car stopped in the middle of the road, thankfully no one hit us. The axle was broken and had to be repaired. Today [xxx] the car just stopped driving in a horrible round about [xxx] . The police and fire men, thank god helped to push the car out of the way into a parking lot. Talk about stress, the round abouts are a horror show, with more accidents than ever and a car just stops driving. Well now we are being told the axle is broken. What in [xxx] is wrong, I looked on-line and many people have made complaints about broken axels on their Honda's. You have to do something, someone could have gotten killed and I would like a call back. [xxx] [xxx] . [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. There wasn’t an accident. My abs module has went out. Which has the traction control light, break light, power steering light, tire light, and abs light all on, on my dash. After a lot of research it is a known issue in models from 2008-2017 so I feel like there should be a recall on this before something happens. I was driving down the hwy going about 50 when I seen a car pull out of a side road. I had to slam on break and my traction control didn’t work at all. I slid all over the road. Luckily I was able to stop before hitting the car, but the traction control made me go all over the road. This is a problem!.

The wheels on the Honda Accord stick out further than the tires thus get scuffed up easily. I had them repaired once shortly after purchasing the car but it was pointless. I believe everyone who has driven the car has damaged the wheels further by accidentally hitting a curb.
After pulling my car in forward, my front cv axel was broke off and I had to have my car towed in to be fixed. The issue is consistent with a similar issue reported on [xxx] after reading through this, I need to know if I am at risk of further vehicle trouble now that my axel is repaired and if this is a recalled issue for my Honda Accord, then I want to ensure others can get this information right away. I am writing to report a persistent and dangerous safety defect in my 2014 Honda Accord involving the vsa (vehicle stability assist) / abs / abs modulator / abs ecu system. The abs, vsa, and other warning lights have been on for years, first noticing around 60-70,000 miles indicating an ongoing fault in the system. The dealer has diagnosed a bad abs/vsa modulator and/or ecu and stated this is a common issue and that often this part is on backorder. Most recently, while turning the car, the system locked or mis applied the brakes, causing the car to lose control and spin out. Luckily I did not crash as the car behind me was at a safe distance, but I ended up on the side of the highway in a dangerous situation. The center for auto safety shows multiple complaints for 2014 Accord, including: abs, vsa, traction control, stability control failures; owners say they were told a vsa modulator needs replacing owners report dtc codes like 81?19 (“yaw rate sensor internal circuit malfunction”) and 81?20 (abs cpu internal circuit malfunction) in 2014 Accords. Owners report abs and vsa not functioning, lights all on, and concerns that braking or stability control will fail, especially in poor conditions. Given the large number of similar reports for this model and year, this appears to be a systemic defect in the abs/vsa modulator/ecu system in 2013?to?2017 Honda Accords, including 2014. Because this is a safety system (brakes, stability control), the defect creates a real risk of crash, injury, or death. I request that NHTSA: open a formal investigation into the abs/vsa modulator/ecu failures in 2014 Accords (and related years). Determine whether a recall is needed. Require Honda to provide fixed or replacement units without cost to owners or reimbursment ensure parts are available (I. E. Not back?ordered) and that the repair is effective and safe.

On July 14, 2025, our 2025 Honda Accord was serviced at hall Honda virginia beach for a tpms warning. The repair was marked complete under warranty by 12:24 pm. We picked up the car [xxx] at 7:30 am. By 4:32 pm, the passenger-side tire catastrophically failed no tpms alert, no impact, no pothole, just sudden sidewall rupture. This was not a minor issue; it was a failure of a federally mandated safety system. Had it occurred at highway speed, it could have resulted in wrongful death due to service negligence. We towed the car back that night (visit #2). The next morning, advisor tito blamed “you must have hit something. ” he then offered to replace the rim and tire under warranty and gave us two options a fast repair or a “proper” 3-day one. Framing a potentially fatal failure as a customer convenience choice is reckless. We picked the car up again July 21. On [xxx] at 3 pm, the tpms failed again this time throwing a calibration warning. This was visit #3. I returned to ask why it failed again. Tito grew defensive and again blamed us for the initial tire failure. I wasn’t there for that I was reporting a second failure of the same safety system. There was no concern shown that the car had been returned unsafe multiple times. No apology, no accountability just blame deflection and hostility. As of July 25, the tpms still does not work. A fourth visit is now required. This is a repeat failure of a safety-critical system required under fmvss 138, mishandled with negligence and denial. It is only luck—not competence—that prevented serious harm or death. For full documentation and timeline, see my public review: [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Car since bought brand new had a pull to one side of the road with noises coming from steering components when operating or hitting any road bumps, which led to prematurely worn wheels and road noises( capping) dealer performed alignment and changed cable reel in steering column. . , it got misaligned again 5 days later! and still going through the dark tunnel please help!.
I had a flat tire while driving on 7/8/25 and the tpms error did not show up in the car screen. I informed the dealer hoen Honda motors of carlsbad, CA, and he mentioned that tpms will not work for flat tire.
Electric power steering system indicator, tire pressure, abs (anti-lock brake system), fcw (front collision warning), ldw (lane departure warning)& vehicle stability assist indicator are the warning lamps that appear on the dashboard all at the same time while driving. Other information provided as shown in the uploads.
When I purchased my car from autonation Honda clearwater, I immediately faced several issues. The first problem was with the tpms (tire pressure monitoring system). As soon as the error appeared, I contacted the dealership. They informed me that it was covered under warranty and that I could visit any Honda service center to have it fixed. However, when I went to another authorized Honda service center, they refused to perform the repair, even though tpms is a legally required safety system. In addition, I had reported the following issues to the dealership soon after purchase: 1. The driver’s seat is torn. 2. The passenger power seat is not functioning. 3. The air conditioning system makes a “burping” noise. Most importantly, the dealership failed to provide a lug nut key at the time of delivery. This became a serious issue when I had a flat tire during travel. When roadside assistance arrived, they informed me that the car required a special lug nut key that should have been provided by the dealer. Because of this missing item, the car had to be towed, which cost me $700. When I contacted autonation Honda clearwater about this, they claimed they did not have my original key and later sent me a replacement key that did not fit. Their response was unhelpful and dismissive. I believe this situation reflects negligence and poor customer service from the dealership. I am requesting appropriate action and compensation for the towing expense and the unresolved issues that should have been addressed under warranty.
No known damage, just scrub mark on the wheel.
I purchased this vehicle in January 2014 and it’s been giving problems since then. I have replaced the gas cap twice because it always gets stuck and I’m unable to open the door. I spoke to the Honda dealer where I purchased and they told me to contact american Honda. I have replaced my tires twice because once it blew on the freeway and the other time on the street out of nowhere. I’m currently at the dealer because the tpms light came on yesterday and I’m afraid to drive the car with my small children and the service director told me there’s no staff to assist me and I might have to wait over 3 hours to take a look at my car. He said the recall for the steering wheel is not a safety issue. Every time I park and rotate the steering wheel it makes a squeaky sound and I’m tired of dealing with issues on a vehicle that I leased less than a year ago. Please help, I use my car to drive my kids to school.
It seems like the steering gear assembly is making a popping/clicking noise when stopped or at slow speeds. This has been diagnosed by an independent shop and inspected by a Honda master technician and confirmed that the steering gear assembly has an internal issue. It was informed to me to have the car immediately serviced at the dealership due to a major safety concern to myself and others on the road as if the steering gear were to malfunction it could cause a crash. There are no warning lamps or any messages on the dashboard that has popped up. And there has been no other symptoms leading up to this issue. The vehicle is also available for inspection upon any request. No insurance representatives, police have inspected the vehicle.
My 2014 Honda has been have 2 major issues over the life of the vehicle. 1. Vtc actuator - prior to the oil indicator light coming on and the time to change the oil, my car screams out a loud consistent noise. I have reported this concern to team Honda in baton rouge on numerous occasions. The most recent repost was on [xxx]. I am concerned my engine will fail or explode. 2. Tires light indicator (see pictures) my tires were check on [xxx] and I spent almost $300 on a new tire. The same light which were on on that day came back on. All 4 of my tires were checked out and 3 out of 4 of them were in good condition. This has also been an ongoing issue. The tire light random come on, then the other 5 (all related) flashed an the dashboard. My first time experiencing this was less than a month after getting my vehicle but the tires was still covered under warranty at that time. By these lights coming on during non-emergencies, the consumer can not identify when the vehicle actually needed to be serviced. Both has been ongoing and reported for years and fed up with these issues. I am surprised they have not issued a recall yet! thanks for reading this and I look forward to hearing from a Honda representative very soon. Purchased 2022 Honda hybrid touring new rear tires with only 32000 miles completely destroyed by cupping to the interior started noticing significant wobble to rear on highway. Many forums discussing this issue with other Honda Accords this could result in a blow out at speed, many forums people have replaced tires some up to three sets a year somethings wrong and this could result in a fatal collision if left unsolved. I am diligent with tire inflation pressure and inspecting tires this is concerning have not seen tires wear out this fast. Has to be a rear suspension defect for many people to be experiencing this all you have to do is google the issue.

I don't have any problem in car!.
Power steering failure. It is available for inspection upon request. After taking a right turn, the steering got stuck and did not come back as expected. This caused car crashing into the curb on the road, severely damaging front right front rim and tire. The steering alignments after the crash has been impacted - steering has to be tilted to make the car go straight. There are multiple warnings signs that include brake system warning, vehicle stability assist system problem, hill start assist problem, adaptive cruise control system problem, collision mitigation braking system problem I have video of all the warnings that I see. The warnings disappeared for sometime and then came back. I am taking the car to a Honda dealership for inspection and repair tomorrow.
I have had car serviced faithfully since ownership in 2013. Last visit to dealer I was informed that the vsa modulator control unit has malfunctioned. It’s very concerning that there has not been a recall on this since it impacts brakes, tires, steering. I am requesting a replacement of this modulator at no charge.

I purchased this car from trickett Honda in June 2013. The mileage on 9/11/23 was 23,602 (the day of the rear wheel hub bearing repair). This car was used primarily by my wife and driven mostly in town for short trips (14 to 25 miles round trip to and from home), seldom trips to nashville and back. My wife started complaining about what she called “road noise” 4 or 5 years ago. I occasionally drove the car and it was loud, but I thought it might just be tires, but the tires looked ok. I do remember being on the interstate hwy at 75 and noticed a high noise level. My wife recently had to drive her brother to nashville for doctor appointments and he told her he thought the noise was from a bad wheel bearing. So, I started searching on google for 2013 Honda Accord noise problems and found many references. One was a Honda engineering request for investigation (copy attached). In order to qualify the VIN must start with 1hg (my VIN). It said to call technical research & support at 800-880-1072 and I did. Trs told me to contact music city Honda and I gave them the info (case number etc. ) and they told me they knew nothing about Honda requesting that they look at the car. The guy I talked with said they would charge $150 just to get in the car and drive it. So, I called gallatin Honda, got transferred to the service dept. , told to leave a message and they never called back. So, I called murfreesboro Honda and the service guy said it would cost $450 labor plus parts to fix one rear wheel bearing. I took it to hight’s auto repair and mr. Hight got in with me and drove the car and told me the noise was from one or both rear hub bearings and it was just one and he fixed it for $325. 67 (invoice attached). He said we are lucky that nothing bad happened (like the wheel coming off). He gave me the bad wheel hub bearing in case Honda wants it. Apparently Honda knows about this problem and is not fixing it. There is something wrong with a bearing that goes bad this quick.
Purchased the vehicle with 23 miles, notice the ride quality getting worse over the passing months. At 5800k miles or so I had to contact the dealership to report a possible issue so before driving 90 mins to an appointment I checked all wheel lug nuts, 3 lug nuts on the driver side and 2 lug nuts on the passenger side front were not properly torqued at the manufactures plant when built. I had the dealership check the front suspension, and balance of each wheel to find out the front two wheels were not properly balanced at the manufacture plant so the dealership corrected the balance issue. Unfortunately, that did not improve the ride quality which got worse to where it started to feel like the driver side tire was going flat. I took the vehicle to a 3rd party wheel/tire shop and had a road force check on the driver tire which initally showed the tire was defective, contacted goodyear corporate which they provided a credit towards the cost of a new replacement tire. The real issue came forward when the tire shop removed the tire which exposed the rim and a defective part know as a sound-deadening attachment to the rim which upon inspection was actually eating away at the tire from the inside with every rotation while driving. I took photos/video of the rim along with the bad tire to the dealership which was warrantied out and a new rim from Honda and new tire from goodyear was later installed. If I had driven 500 or less miles possibly on the interstate a blowout definitely would have taken place. There's no telling how many other vehicles that could have the same problem. My photos and video speak volume to the seriousness of the matter.
My vehicle currently has the tpms, vsa(stabilty/abs),electric power steering, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning lights are on. I brought my vehicle to a local tire discounters. They scanned for the codes and it brought up the vsa modulator (aka abs module) malfunction. I researched through forums and it is a common issue with Honda abs module. The vsa/abs module has to be replaced due to electrical issues within the module. This could lead to a crash/injury.
All lights on dash board have lit up abs, tire pressure, engine check light, brake light.
I bought this car from a private owner about 2 months ago ever since I had it the car shuts off I think it O2 sensor is not working or it's gone the cv joint went out on the right side I had it replaced and it still messed up it's something with the suspension and stuff the front end alignments out real bad it ate up my tires really bad to where it keeps eating up tires every time I put them on here badly real fast too the left side cv joint I believe is about to go out cuz it's knocking the lights are messed up the wiring in this car is bad with the lighting system because the left headlight is out and it won't stay on it blinks on and off the cigarette lighter is not working sometimes this car will not crank it'll turn over and show the lights but it won't crank the radiator fans are not working I don't know what's going on with that and it's a lot of other things I believe that's not properly working right and I really need this checked out because I'm low income with children and I like that I had a bad accident two days ago in this car during the rain because my car slid right and it kept going right instead of turning left on the interstate around the curve in the curve it went right and I'm scared of this car right now cuz it almost killed me and my kids if it would have hit that guardrail we would have went off the in bank of the interstate I just now today on may 18th 2023 had a tire put on here and I'm going to have another one put on here again these tires cost money because I was sold a car that is not properly stable for this road and I was lied to about it and the guy got my $1,000 and he told me this car was drivable and stable when it's not and my windows don't automatically roll down in the front with the power button but the back one was rolled down when you roll them down from the back please help me understand this car thank you. My email address is mooreopal56@gmail. Com and once again I'm low income practically homeless and I'm trying to do gig.

The abs, vsa, eps, and the parking brake systems began to appear on my dashboard. After diagnostics, it appeared that the vsa modulator was failing to provide all these components that are needed for safety in all driving conditions. After doing some research, I came to know that the modulator failure is very common in the Honda Accord models from year 2010 and above. Yet, Honda has yet to recall vehicles for this issue that affects the brake and steering systems. So far, the lights continuously appear and disappear. However, there is a huge difference when the intermittent lights appear. The car swerves too easily on rainy days when running through a puddle on the street. Even on windy days, sometimes it cannot handle when I am driving against the wind. The car's steering system feels too vulnerable and sensitive when these lights are on given that I have none of that systems providing the extra safety components. I fear that one day when I have to brake suddenly to prevent I crash, I will lose control instead and cause a fatal accident. The part is too expensive and total costs can reach up to $3,000 or more, and like everyone else who has reported this issue. I cannot afford to repair it as of now, but will need to be on a day where the financials can support the repair.
Wheels are known to collect dirt and it effects tire sensors.
2016 Honda Accord - sedan (48,000 miles) is pulling to the right. (hands free) at the count of 3, the vehicle is off the road (scary!). Took to Honda dealer for service. Wheel alignment was done. Expensive continental tires (2 years olds) were moved from front to the back. I returned to the dealer once I left the service center because it seemed even worse. The advisor took it for a test drive and said it was because I was on a hill/slope. A few days later, I test drove the car with a friend who said for certain I have a problem. I have an appointment to go back to the Honda service center again. I do not know if this is a alignment problem? or bad tires? there is a solution to every problem. Find the answer.
Website test please disregard.
I bought this vehicle 8-25-2021. It had 22,000 miles on it. It now has 46,000 miles on it. I was feeling a vibration while driving. 7-31-2022 coming back from louisiana into texas I had a flat. When my husband removed the back tire to place the spare on, the tire was absolutely eaten up on the inside wall. There were chunks of rubber missing from the tire and we looked at other rear tire and it was worn beyond repair. I took my car 8-1-2023 to have 2 new back tires replaced and get an alignment, which has to be all wheel alignment due to front wheel drive. I was told that the rear camber had gone out. They quoted me $1000 to repair. I drive 40 miles one way to work Monday through Friday all highway. I do not drive over the speed limit and do not hit pot holes or curbs. Nowhere in my manual is there a schedule for alignment. I will attach a picture of the tires that were taken off 8-1-2022. This very upsetting and dangerous. I would think that a part that serious would last longer than 46,000 miles. And no one can align the tires do to this camber being broken. I don’t have the money to replace tires that often due to a defect on Honda America. I have read numerous posts from other Honda owners having this same issue. Thank you for your time and consideration. Have a blessed day.
